All I needed to be pumped at the start of the day was to have my coffee on the table beside me and then a book in my warm hands— there wasn't much I would pick over this. Another thing I found ineffable was the effect good stories had on me. I couldn't emphasize just how good stories made me feel. I loved the way I could get lost in stories and not be bothered at all. It was quite stimulating to be able to move through each phase of fictional characters' lives; experiencing every moment with them.
