6 Missed Calls: Levi. My heart gave a dull thud the moment I took in the caller ID. It really was Levi. The name felt like it belonged to a different lifetime, a version of me that hadn't been wrecked by three monsters, but I didn't care. I couldn't care, not when I felt empty. I was still reeling from it all when the phone rang again, but this time it was Cathy. "Turn it off," a voice growled from the corner of the room. “Now.”

"Keep telling yourself that, baby but we all know the truth." My phone buzzed in Dante's hand and it was another message from Marcus. I'm coming for you soon. Sleep tight. Kai smiled and it was the scariest thing I'd ever seen. "Let him come. I could use the entertainment.”

The shapes around me swam for a moment before settling into the dim outline of my room. My throat felt dry when I spoke. “Arlo?” I rasped, rubbing my eyes. “What time is it?” He didn’t answer. His face was pale in the moonlight, his jaw clenched, breath coming fast. “The monsters,” he said in a strained whisper. “They found us.” “We have to move. Now.”

Driiiiiiiiiiiiiiing driiiiiiiiiiing.. My phone was vibrating under my nose. I seriously don't know how and when did i fall asleep! I wonder what time it is.. I didn' get up ,and stayed under my sheets instead. I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arm,trying to find my phone. All I could hope for her to be happy and never come back to this place . I got up from the park bench . The early morning sun didn't help much with the cold either. I smiled at how terrified Belle was of giving her finals . She had clung on the phone call forever to find comfort .It felt good to know that the things that scared her were as simple as that. They had almost gotten to me when the mist popped out six huge monsters, five of which immediately went into action. The winged monster didn't, instead, it trotted to me and nuzzled my cheek, making me smile. The Egran, which I had decided to name my monsters, fought with Karissa's scorpion-wolves with such speed that stunned the scorpion-wolves themselves at first.

As my phone emits a sound, I return to the present moment. I retrieve my phone from the bed and a frown appears on my face upon seeing the caller ID. It’s him, ‘Mr. Monster.’ I change his contact name from Master to Mr Monster before reading his text. Mr Monster: I want to meet you. Me: Do you remember, you can only call me when you want to fuck me? I can hardly recognize myself as the same person who was once so innocent as to broach the topic of sex. He has transformed me.

For me. I shrugged. Plucking the beer bottle out of his fingers, I studied it for a minute. “How many of these have you had?” “My first. I can drive, Cyber.” Monster huffed. “Want to explain to me why she's just come down here looking like she wants to either slit your throat or burst into tears?” I could feel his bright eyes on my face, but I didn't answer him. “Everyone could hear her an hour ago,” Monster carried on, ignoring the death stare I threw in his direction. “Sounded like the two of you were getting on pretty well.” He grinned.

She tried to managed herself not to be afraid. She saw a huge black winged dragon with a red big eye. His tale was so big and tall. His wings were enormous as well. His hands were made up of sharp scales. She composed herself and greeted the monster with a smile. “good morning love”, Kris greeted. “good morning my sunshine”, he replied. “did you sleep well?”, he asked. “yes, yes love, slept well”, she answered. They finished the breakfast like normal days and proceed to their everyday routine. When Kris came out, she was horrified. The green grass was just all illusions. What she saw at that moment was an empty land full of ashes. Everything was colorless, all she could gazed were all gray.
