Blood pooled and burned, he yanked again this time, ignoring the bite of my nails as they pierced deeper. He wrenched his arm free, or what was left of it. I was determined to survive and live to tell the story of this chaotic night, where alliances shifted and the line between friend and foe blurred in the haze of battle. The ferals came at us in waves, their teeth and claws glinting in the moonlight. Some were massive, their fur matted with gore, while others were sleek and agile, darting in and out of the shadows. It was a brutal dance of survival, a primal struggle for dominance.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

As her fingers brushed against them, a cold feeling ran up her arm. The writing inside was the same as the journals. Runes. Symbols she couldn’t read. But this time… it wasn’t just words. There were illustrations. And the moment her eyes landed on them— Her blood turned cold. The drawings were horrifying. Creatures with twisted horns, long claws, and wings that looked torn and unnatural. Their faces were distorted, some almost human… but not quite. Their eyes were drawn with such detail that it felt like they were staring right back at her.

HUDSON BACK AT THE GOLDEN RISE PACK… “Kill!” the single command that broke through my control, snapping my beast, filling us with the thirst for blood. The sound of their screams excited me. I was carnage bathed in the blood of my enemies. This was absolutely my scene. The warrior beneath me shuddered, blood gushing out of his open stomach. I grinned, my claws digging deeper into him as I pulled out his intestines, enjoying the way his face contorted in pain before the life drained out of his eyes.

Blood sprayed in dark arcs that caught the strange, too-bright moonlight and glittered like spilled ink. The Crimson Claw pack was smaller but fiercer, red-brown fur flashing like embers. They fought dirty: going for throats, hamstrings, eyes. One of them, a lean female with white streaks on her flanks, leapt onto the back of a Silverfang warrior and clamped her jaws around his neck. He thrashed, yelped once, went still.

Swoosh… Just then, a figure suddenly appeared in front of Andrius. It was none other than Gluttony. Without saying a word, he charged straight at Andrius. His surged true vitality conjured a rainbow with endless power. “Esoteric Art: Myriad Fists!” Andrius attacked with his fist, which immediately formed thousands of fist shadows. However, the endless fist shadows hitting Gluttony’s palm were like raindrops hitting the ground. Although they made a loud sound, their killing power was limited.
