The One Way Ticket

The One Way Ticket

As he walked into the library which had a majestic staircase which curved and veered upwards onto other floors stacked with books, like a toothpick with lots of grilled pork attached to it. “You have to drop your bags over - there,” the chief librarian - a fat woman who found it hard to breath and spoke through her nose said. “We appreciate bibliophiles and bibliomaniacs but not thieves.” Gerey stuttered for a second. How was he going to smuggle Jeyrin in. Little did he know that...

she smiled, happy with her work, “Where would you like to see first my lady?” I remained mute for a moment and then it hit me, “The library.” *********** The Library was different from the study I stormed into when I wanted to give my mate a piece of my mind. It stood at the far end of the castle, tucked behind a towering stone arch and two werewolf statues in front of it. The place was even more beautiful than I thought it to be. Lenore pushed the heavy lidded doors, it had the same intricate patterns on it. I couldn’t help but think they were ancient runes of the sort.

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

* *The First Silence, not as a void, but as a woman weeping in the dark. The Librarian withdraws, its finger stained with my static. The Archivist studies the residue. "Interesting. You're not just a Stormbearer. You're a *palimpsest*. Layers of failures written over each other." She stands, her dress rustling like pages. "They want to shelve you. Preserve you. But I think you're more useful... *alive*." The Librarians hiss. --- **The Bargain** The Archivist snaps her fingers. The cottage dissolves, replaced by a labyrinth of towering bookshelves that stretch into infinity. Each book is a world, its spine etched with names I can't pronounce.

Mate Reclaimed

I couldn't help the eerie chill her smile gave me but I shrugged it off as Nora began our tour and although I knew every nook and cranny of the pack house I tried to view everything through Scarlett's eyes and not Elara's and I was amazed by just how beautiful everywhere was. "This is the library which no one ever visits anymore," Nora announced as we passed by what was my favourite room while I was still Luna. This library had been a random gift Silas had given me because he knew how much I loved to read. It had shelves full of all my favourite authors, a couch and a blanket placed just in front of a fireplace, and the perfect lighting. "Why doesn't anyone visit it anymore?" I inquired and

Spirit bound by the Alpha's curse

Spirit bound by the Alpha's curse

That day, after breakfast, I took the satchel containing the broken urn, and made Cassian take me to the library inside the pack house. It was a huge, quiet room with rows and rows of books. At the very back, there were some old scrolls, and more books that looked like they might be restricted. The librarian was a nice old lady who had kept glancing at me until I found a desk out of sight. I got the urn out of the satchel, found two pieces that looked like they matched, and tried to join the edges together. I'd sort of been expecting that something magical would happen. Maybe the pieces would begin to glue themselves back together or something. No such thing happened.

THE ALPHA I WAS TO KILL

THE ALPHA I WAS TO KILL

Across the room, Lila was humming as she tried to braid her hair. "Morning," she said. "You look terrible." "I feel terrible." "Progress." I threw a pillow at her, and she laughed. Somehow, her laugh made the room feel normal again. After breakfast, I skipped training for the first time since arriving at Grimhalden. I went to the library. It stood at the oldest end of the academy, hidden beneath stained-glass windows that painted the stone floor in blue and gold. The place smelled of dust and old paper, exactly the kind of place where forgotten things waited. An elderly librarian glanced at me over tiny spectacles.

The Descendants

The Descendants

the librarian leads the way to the source of information, “What are you looking for specifically? Domboguru has many mythological stories associated with many creatures!” “Specifically, the witches, the mythological ones, those said to have possess immense power!” she pin point clarifying what she is looking for. The librarian looks at her in terror over what she said. “What?” she asks. “Why the dark dimension?” She sighs, “It’s just school research. And I want to bring them something that is ahhh………... unique and not baby tales.” Relieved upon hearing of the project he starts looking for the books, “You want to be the outstanding student? I cannot deny that it is not commendable.”

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

He started going through the books, checking out the names and dates of each book section in the library. He had hoped that Roen had written down in any of the books about where he had kept the rest of his demons. He was so engrossed with searching for that particular kind of book that he didn't notice one of the wolves who was the librarian, coming in and saw a little child going through all the books in the library, scattering them. The wolf went out and came back with four guards. "That's the street rat in the palace library." The librarian said pointing at the child.

The Alpha's Blood

I joked treating her like a tour guide and she chuckled "Yes mam, but first you have to make an appointment with me, I'm an elite tour guide" "I have already set an appointment, now we're up to the library," I answered and started walking, she lead me the way and I found a library just the same as the library in Blade's house, it's full of vampires and werewolf stories and history, there are so many books that I'm getting dizzy just by looking at it. Who would want to read this book? It's too much for me to handle.

Anything For The Alpha

Anything For The Alpha

Dressed in only the long black vest of Beta Glenn and the hideous old shorts thrown at me by Rose, I was going to get drowned out there. "Please leave now," the librarian chided, jangling her keys in frustration. I stared at the pile of books and notes. My little stack of misery and stress that I had thought held the key to my happiness. Then walked away empty handed. They were only going to get soaked in the walk home. So I ignored the librarian and slowly walked out, terrified in case my next step saw my freshly healed leg give way. As soon as I stood in the white arched porch I heard the huge double doors shut and lock behind me. Clearly the librarian thought I was trouble too.

This book had me hook from the first chapter. The story is packed with love, lust and betrayal... not everyone is who/what they seem and you don't know who to truly trust. Just enough heartbreak and redemption, and the perfect amount of spice. Will definitely be reading more of Alle in the future.

Another amazing story! I was skeptical at first having read the synopsis a few times if it would be something I would enjoy. But Alle blew it out of the water the twist and turns, the gut wrenching heartache for the characters. I cried and I smiled so much while reading this book.
