The Hunter and the Vampire

The Hunter and the Vampire

I’d never hung around to inspect the dead bodies of the vampires we’d killed before, though, so reading up on what to look for was a necessity. Torre’s house was huge. It was an imposing stone structure, and it made me think back to the Gothic architecture that had inspired so many scary stories in the Victorian era. The front driveway was a labyrinth of neatly sheared bushes and pristine white gravel, and, without warning, the thought of hot blood hissing and spitting and soaking into the ground shot into the forefront of my mind. I shook myself, and the gravel turned back from red to white.

The Crimson Veil

The Crimson Veil

The candles went out. Author’s Note - The Crimson Veil began as a late-night idea about what might happen if logic met temptation in its purest, most dangerous form. Evelyn’s curiosity is my own: the need to understand what we fear, even when it leads us somewhere we can’t easily return from. This story mixes gothic atmosphere, mystery, and forbidden connection—a slow burn between intellect and instinct. Every chapter was written and refined by hand, inspired by old literature and the darker side of human emotion.

Shift

Shift

Not Hot Topic gothic with chains and an Ouija board or Nightmare before Christmas or even skulls hanging from the ceiling. No, I wanted gothic architecture. All black walls with carved pillars, steeple style windows with the round cutouts at the top. An entire wall that was bookshelves filled with books of every type. Dark wood dressers and old antiques that made the whole room look like it was plucked from a castle miles and miles away.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

The Vampire Chronicles

The Vampire Chronicles

Andro has to fight to stay by his mate's side and fight off the new enemy waging a war against his family; his mafia family while protecting his identity as a vampire. CHAPTER ONE Annika’s POV In the chant of the black night, the stars were the choir, they were nights singing in an unusual pattern, singing a tone of death. Few minutes past ten, the once-cleared skies had transformed into a vast expanse of jet-black as the night laid down in a blanket of darkness.

The Alpha’s Pride Mate (The Pride Who Goes Into Heat)

The Alpha’s Pride Mate (The Pride Who Goes Into Heat)

A sense of unease permeated the air as if the very stones themselves whispered of long-lost secrets and ancient curses. Polished ebony coffins lined the walls, each adorned with intricate carvings depicting scenes of darkness and death. Gargoyles leered down from their perches high above, their stone eyes seemingly tracking every movement with an eerie intensity. Sinister whispers reverberated through the dark corridors, and the cold touch of fear lingered in the air, warning all who dared to intrude upon this unholy sanctuary.

Mafia's Sinful Desire

Mafia's Sinful Desire

A character out of the 19th-century Gothic novel. I didn't understand how I had managed to muster the courage enough to back-talk him the first time we met. At the time the fear of being chased by some knife-wielding hooded maniac had partly clouded my mind. But even then I was at a loss for words the very second I laid eyes on this sinister yet compelling force of a man. And now? I would be outright lying if I said I wasn't afraid of him. The more I find out about him, the more he frightens me. And I would be lying if I said I wasn't afraid for my life right now.

HER PERFECT RUIN, HIS PERFECT REDEMPTION

HER PERFECT RUIN, HIS PERFECT REDEMPTION

I only buried my face into his chest, inhaling his scent and hoping it would bring me comfort. "Now, you are scared." He snorted and my head shot up. "I am not scared!" I huffed. He snickered. "You are an asshole," I told him, my eyes wandering around. They widened, nearly spilling out of their sockets when an intimidatingly tall Victorian castle came into view, flat-out looking like an image from a Gothic story with the thin branches that were wrapped around it as though they stemmed from its old Grey walls. The air around here felt colder and ominous. The unsettling atmosphere that hung around here had me furrowing my brows, but despite how it seemed to have an unnerving darkness oozing of
