Granny's eyes twinkled with mirth as she got up from her couch. "Raven, what a lovely name for a lovely young girl. C'mon sweetheart, give granny a hug," said granny, stretching her arms and enveloping her into a bear hug. "When did you get yourself a girlfriend, Ralph?" Her face was what endeared her the most to me, it was full of lines and creases from years of laughter and smiles. Her bright blue eyes shined even from a distance. I had always noted how just a simple look from the elderly woman was enough to touch your very soul. Her face glimmered with intelligence and warmth. There wasn’t much that got past Granny Lou, she was a beacon of knowledge and love.

Sasha abruptly turned around and saw Granny standing near the entrance of one of the corridors, her hands plastered on her watermelons as she gawked at Sasha. Were they not aware of her arrival? Could this be a surprise from her side? And what was Granny doing here? Wasn't she in the Logon Kingdom? The old lady gawked at Sasha from head to toe and immediately ran up to her. She threw herself in Sasha's arms as the young one barely handled the weight of her chubby body. "I missed you." The old lady said with a sigh. Sasha remained still for a second before hugging her back. "I missed you too." They stayed in the same position for a while until Sasha decided to step back.

“What am I, a witch or something? I wasn't even that mean to him.” I exchanged glances with Heidy, who was arranging teacups on the sideboard. Eden put the medicine in her mouth then hand over her a glass of water. Her nanny gulped down the medicine. Eden took the water glass from her and put down the glass on the bed side table. I had already arrived on the front porch before I realised I had forgotten my coat at The Tarven. Something about Granny almost getting run over just seemed to send my brain spiralling. "Granny?! Granny?!! I'm back l." I announced as I practically bathed into the living room. She was seated on the couch with two cups of chocolate and a glass of milk on the table in front of her.
