Windfall looked at Victor, confused. Victor didn't have time to explain. He kicked the massive metal ball. The metal ball rolled forward a few meters, then rapidly plummeted. As it fell, countless metallic remains broke apart.

The fall was more than something he could control. He couldn’t stop the scream that forced itself out of his mouth as he found himself struggling against the force of gravity. His body hit the window guards from the top most floor and his head also hit one of the opened window glasses and continued downward until it got to the middle floor at the fourth second where it hit another opened glass window, all this slowing down his movement and increasing the pains of his fall. He closed his eyes in anticipation of his death as he continued falling.

A spike of real fear lanced his heart. He gripped the eight ball hard enough to hear its plastic shell creak. “Who’s Dillon? What grandchildren? What the hell is happening?” Instinctively, he glanced down at the eight ball. Floating letters spelled out: Ask Again Later. There were those damn cats again, whisking down the hall, though instead of sounding like Fluffy and Princess knocking around pieces of cardboard on the cold concrete floor . . . no, it’s Peanut and Pebbles . . . it sounded more like the hem of a dress or a robe dragging across the floor outside the door to his office, where it was still so dark.

Extreme density was the heaviest weight onto the part he desired, For now, he placed the heaviest weight on his entire left side. Gruuuu~ He felt the rolling ball was near at the highest speed. A smile never ceased from his lips. The excitement jumped out of his body. This was the perfect training to see his level, although he doubted it would come in handy. GRUUUUU~ The sound became prominent. “Te hehehe.” His heart pounded hard. He saw it. The rolling ball. It was enormous. Five meters radius. GRRUUUU~ His eyes rounded even more as the ball was within his perimeter.

She called and made a shot that I don't think Van or I could make. "Come on, La. Don't run the table" Leo called and she nodded. "Fine" She said and missed the last stripe on purpose. Vander took his turn and sunk four solids before missing. Leo went and sunk their last stripe but the eight ball was an impossible shot so he missed. I sighed and went up to shoot. I made our last three but the eight ball was in the same spot so I missed on purpose so I wouldn't risk scratching. I looked over to see Layla and Leo whispering to each other and could tell that they were figuring out the angles. Layla stood up and circled the table as our other friends came over from their game.

“Wait.” Magnus was right. Defying the laws of physics, the ball gained momentum, rising on the sides of the chute. I looked at Esmerelda. Her gaze was intent, and her eyebrows furrowed, unable to admit defeat. Her mouth moved. OUT! The ball obeyed and hit the middle pin, cascading down the rest of the pins. “What the hell?” “I’ve never seen the ball do that. Esmerelda has a little something extra.” Magnus’s comment stayed in the air as the group turned and saw us. We were as lethal as Cyrus when provoked. Our awe turned back to rage.

"There." We walked to a room with rows of bowling balls; everything was sorted by weight and color. I picked out a deep blue colored eight-pound ball, and Adam walked over to the 16-pound balls and picked out a forest green colored one. "You're supposed to be taking it easy," I said. "This hardly weighs anything," Adam said. "Come on." Adam took my ball from me and walked to a lane with the already prepared screens. "Ladies first" I smiled at Adam as a joke came to my mind.

“Hello, ma and sir! If you’d like to win one of our amazing prizes, just play the game—$5 per try!” Liam pulled out a bill and handed it over without blinking. The man handed him three balls. “All you have to do is knock down the bottles. Hit them hard enough and you win!” Liam took the first ball, aimed with what looked like minimal effort, and threw it. The ball slammed into the front bottle… but instead of knocking it down, it bounced right off. The stack barely wobbled. I winced. “Aish… Almost.” The vendor chuckled. “They’re heavier than they look. But no worries, you’ve still got two more shots.”

To her, that would symbolize progress. She grabbed one of Dominic’s tennis balls and sat down at her desk, carefully balancing the ball as close to the edge of the desk as she could. She used her trigger and concentrated on visualizing the ball rolling off the edge, but it just sat there. She closed her eyes for a few moments and then tried again. The ball still refused to move. Frustrated, she kicked the desk leg with her knee and watched the tennis ball fall to the floor.
