Gravity Falls Ep 10 Novels & Stories

Then, the ground didn't just shake—it surrendered. The ancient stone of the dais, cracked and overcharged by the First Flame, began to disintegrate beneath us. A roar of shifting earth drowned out the wind as the center of the circle collapsed. We weren't just falling; the earth was swallowing us both, pulling the two anchors of this new power into its dark, cool depths. Gravity became a suggestion. The air rushed past us, smelling of damp earth and old magic. "Aella!" Sol’s voice was a jagged tear in the dark.

I immediately splashed water on my face. God, that guy is even sexier without clothes, and I only saw him shirtless; imagine what he hides underneath... Jesus! I have to stop. I splashed water on my neck, on my hands and arms. I took a deep breath and stepped out into the hallway, determined to go home. When I reached the elevator, I pressed a button, the doors were closing, and then a foot stopped them. Spen again? The man looked at me for a moment, then stepped in, pressing the button for the ground floor.

I pleaded in a shaky voice, my knees suddenly felt weak, so I sat down, not minding that people were passing by and watching me. "Your mom collapsed and when the doctors examined her, they said she was getting worse and she had just a few weeks-" I didn't listen to the rest of what he had to say. I ran down the staircase as my chest tightened. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I kept pushing through the wind, running as fast as my little legs could carry me. Tears kept falling from my eyes but I didn't bother to clean them.

The tension in the line snapped, but not completely. But just enough. Enough to throw everything off. My grip faltered. The support failed. And suddenly— I wasn’t moving forward anymore. I was falling. The world tilted violently as gravity took over, my body dropping faster than my mind could process. There was no time to react. No time to correct. No time to fix it. It was just an impact. And then everything went black. * * *

Anya's POV The world didn’t just end again, it tilted. It wasn't some poetic metaphor for my life falling apart. It was actual, screeching physics. The metal floor of the relay station—the same floor I’d been standing on while I tried to play God with a radio frequency—groaned like a dying whale. Then, it leaned thirty degrees to the left. For a heartbeat, my stomach stayed at the top of the tower while my boots began a desperate, screeching slide toward the edge of the platform. Below us, the quarry looked like a hungry black mouth, yawning wide, waiting for the punchline of a very long, very expensive, very bad joke.

"A mess. He is scrambling to borrow money to cover the holes, but it's too much. He can't fill it." "How much?" "Nearly 20 million dollars. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy." I sighed, "Has he called the police?" "Yeah, but Yvette ran off clean," John replied. "It will take time to track her down." I hung up, reflecting. Elliot's betrayal hurt, but we'd shared five years and a son. His downfall stung, but it was his doing.

The Ascent:** They battle extreme heat, flash-boiling water, and a steeply tilted environment to reach Docking Bay 4. The Confrontation:** Upon reaching the bay, they find Julian Sterling safely behind reinforced glass, preparing to manually launch the pod and leave them behind. The Cliffhanger:** Elara desperately attempts to hack the pod's release clamp from the outside just as the final hydraulic brakes fail, sending the station into freefall toward the magma vent.

Some from the nurse's office had somehow figured out how to get on the ledge, but could barely keep their balance before falling off and landing on the ground. Suddenly, the ones from the next class started reaching out for them as well, attracted by the commotion. Emma got up, she had to move. At this point, even the wall particles began to collapse and fade as cracks went through it because of the tension caused by the fiends. Despite the pain in her forehead, Emma climbs up the wall, and Stephanie followed suit. She had to endure as much as she could, any slight mistake could mean falling to their deaths. _________ Sophie had to manage the spoiling food she could find in a teacher's flask

replied Yusra as she, too, leaped down… “...She’s right! Even if I were to lose my life, it’s too late to back down!” Following that declaration, everyone began leaping down as well… Moving back to Gerald, despite being the first to leap down, he had yet to reach the bottom. In fact, it almost seemed like the pit was bottomless, and Gerald only felt himself falling faster and faster by the second...! Even after twenty minutes had passed, there were still no signs of the bottom yet. It didn’t help that Gerald couldn’t use any of his powers as he continued falling on…

Love you. Then I powered down my phone, slipped on my eye mask, and leaned back. I didn’t know how long it took because one second I was falling asleep and the next, the pilot announced our descent into Moonclaw Kingdom. Stepping out, I carried my bag as I went through baggage claim, grabbed my suitcase, and watched as a porter offered to help. He helped load everything into a cab, and I tipped him before climbing into the back seat. “MoonLand University, please,” I told the driver.
