Brook would make it. Finally, after what felt like half the night, she completly shifted. She was a small wolf. Her fur was brown with bright auburn and gray highlights. Brook looked like a red wolf, and she was beautiful. I got to my feet and waited for her to wake up, but Brook remained unconscious. This time, the worry slipped in before I could stop it.

It gave us the advantage. “ATTACK!” Wyatt said and took off to help his warriors. I have been feeling each death that was happening around the U.S. The numbers were staggering but I tried to stay focused to watch Raven take down Devin. She stalked him like a lion does his prey. Devin shifted into his wolf that was smaller than Raven but was thick with muscle. I felt Raven bring the electricity to the surface and my whole body was sending off little blue sparks as she walked to him. It caused him to pause for a second and look at them before he decided it was not anything to be concerned about.

I muttered to her as Maya struggled a laugh and continued writing in her notes. “You’re lucky Mr Granger is old and his wolf hearing has diminished over time.” I shook my head at her as I spoke even louder. “Is it true..” I started, as Mr Granger stopped halfway and turned to me. “Is it true that Ravencrest ‘glorious’ victory over Silverwood was due to them having more than three thousand of our numbers and attacking us at night time like some sort of coward?” Mr Granger frowned at me like I had insulted him.
