Personal taste.” I laughed. “Well, I personally hate it, but…” Caroline’s tone suddenly switched into full-on Luna mode. “As a responsible Luna, I keep track of all entertainment options within the pack. About thirty miles north of the manor, there’s a place called ‘Kuangxiong Bar.’ They’ve got live rock bands every night. Young grizzlies love it.”

Each claw was as long as Magma and was extremely sharp. Its aura climbed up steadily as well as both – man and bear – prepared to clash once more.

So, it has been confirmed time. The zoo here in Big Bear was no different than other zoos, only that it contains wildlife animals from the Alpines, such as bears, cougars, eagles, wolves, and 80 other species. We were short, but we walked around looking at different animals. While my parents and grandmother had joined a tour group, I wandered off and found myself in front of the wolf habitat. I don't know why I made myself stay, but watching the wolves inside got me thinking of someone.

All I can do is shift into my wolf form and hope that my strong jaw and sharp teeth can protect me. Fur flies. Paws scratch. Teeth bite. The smell of blood, both bear and wolf, hangs heavy in the air. I hear Zach yelping in pain and remember that he was already beaten up by the bears once before, and his existing injuries must be flaring back up as he is pummeled.
