I have no idea how she gets her energy first thing in the morning, especially because I see a veggie shake in her cup, not coffee.

His words, his face—everything about him made me sick. I went pale and forced a smile. "I can forgive you. All it'll cost is your life." Emily's face darkened. "Nathan, that's enough!" But before she even finished speaking, Jake grabbed a vase off the table and smashed it against his own head. Blood ran down his forehead. Emily and my mother both screamed. The sound coming from my grumbling stomach made me frown. “She was kind enough to bring you food last night but as the ungrateful bitch you sent her out.” My wolf said. I growled at her angrily, “Shut the fuck up!” I snapped. Getting off the bed, I lost my balance, “Why am I this weak? Damn!” I cussed. “You haven’t eaten a proper meal for days, don’t be so hard on yourself. If there’s anyone you need to kill then it has to be your bloody uncle.” My wolf said.

Although, he would never know that. My heart still ached at the thought when I woke up. The sun was already rising as I held the cup of coffee while watching it rise from my unit. I am a lover of sunrise and I am a morning person. I would never start a day without looking at the run rises wherever I am. And, a cup of coffee will also make my day. Although, I am feeling lazy today. What? Am I broken? “Okay. It’s another day.” I whispered to myself. “Why am I getting sad over him?”
