Guide For Bible Reading Novels & Stories

Andrea suggests as she places her Bible on the stands and begins to read. "The Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing, He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He refreshes my soul, He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake." Julia shares and begins to read it with Andrea, Robert, and Alexa.

“That’s hers.” Tiningnan ko din ang librong hawak-hawak ko. Hindi ito malalamang bible sa unang tingin dahil sa sobrang dami ng mga colored papers na nakadikit sa mga gilid ng pages.

But at the front door, he said something, words leaving his tongue laboriously. "The Bible," he whimpered to me. Immediately, I ran back into his office, rummaging through the mess. It was in the most obvious place I didn't think to look in - on the last standing bookshelf, as the last standing book - the Hebrew Bible. And the irony was piercing - Abraham looked through every book that Ben owned except for the holy book itself. A book that would most like burn Abraham or his minion's hands if he were to touch it. Purposefully ignored, this sacred book had the parchments tucked throughout the pages of the 18th chapter of "2 Kings." My hands graced the leather cover, gliding over the "Holy Bib

"Um, Psalms maybe." "Let's try Revelation. You read, and I'll listen." For hours we sit reading the Book of Revelation. It's hard for me to grasp, but as long as he was listening, I kept reading. Just before dawn, I finished. I only lifted my eyes towards him, and he was intensely watching. "Shall I read more?" I ask. "What did we learn?" Shrugged, I answer, "I guess that's why Pastor Chauffee is needed."

Not read. I put the phone face down. The orchid in the corner... the replacement Tasha had ordered when the first one died... was doing better than its predecessor. Four open blooms. Two buds still coming. I looked at it for a long time. Then I opened the Ashworth file and made myself read it line by line, the way my mother had taught me to read the Bible as a child. Not for the beauty of it. Not for the comfort. For the specific instruction buried in plain language that most people skipped because they were looking for something larger.

She moved ahead and sat on a couch placed by the sliding doors that led to the yard outside. She placed the Book on the chair, beside a flower pot. Her eyes, on their own, traced the shiny name branded on the dark cover. The Holy Bible, she read the words in her mind, smiling instantly. It's been days since she read the Book. The one who has the hunger for the Word of God can only understand how the spirit desires its food. It's true peace. Opening the Book, she began reading the Word. She didn't even realize when hours passed.

Mia made me realize that the Bible wasn't just any book. And so it couldn't be read like a novel or school book.. As it's actually the most completed book on Earth. Not only that, it's also God's word for us. She advised me not to read the Bible just for reading's sake, but to meditate on the words and see it as God speaking directly to me. And I did... I must say, it was really an emotion packed experience... I recalled reading the book of Jeremiah and got to a verse where God said. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

Said Roslyn, giving ‘im room to speak, “Some of us have not opened the scripture before; how can we share what we do not know of?” Roslyn was marveled at her new discovery; it also amazed her to know that there are still people who don’t know about the scripture, people who don’t know about God’s grace and wonders. “Oh, Gabriel worries not; I can read the scripture and share the words with all of you.” Said Roslyn; She reached out for her bible on the small stool beside and swiftly opened the bible; she read her favorite book of psalms slowly, making sure they understand the passage.

His hands fall over my thighs, sliding to and fro, while I pull up the book we are about to study. “Sit up” I request, as I turn off its cover, flipping through pages. We’ve been on this book for a while now, and I must say he’s pretty learning a lot. He asks questions and tries to know stuff, needing explanations. I'd call him a good student, except when he gets all fuzzy and annoying sometimes. “John chapter three verses sixteen to eighteen” I announce, while slamming the bible against his thighs “read it” I demand, holding it until he takes hold of it.

Aside from that, there's no harm in trying. I took out my phone and opened the bible app that came with it, and to my amazement, Mister Handsome was correct. "Proverbs 4:25 says, 'Let your eyes be straight ahead; fix your gaze directly ahead of you.'" The bible chapters from Proverbs were exalted. I suddenly recall something, and things start to make sense to my ear. "Wait! "I thought it was a romantic way of saying sorry?" I asked. "Well. As you can see, the Bible is chock-full of surprises." Mister handsome remarked, smiling.
