When he gave me priceless jewelry, I did not even bother opening the box; I simply donated it, saying I had plenty of such things. The next day, he sent even rarer, more expensive pieces. He took me to a Mafia family dinner, yet I showed up in a bikini. When someone mocked me for being unruly and dressed like a prostitute, he immediately canceled his partnerships with those companies and acquired them!

[Gabriel] "Where are you?" My heart skipped a beat as I stared at the message before me. I rubbed my palm over my eyes, groaning hard as I felt a throbbing headache from how much I drank last night "Little doll sent me a message?" I mumbled under my breath, staring at the message over and over, a subtle smile hinting at my optimism, feeling a glimmer of hope wash over me. Was it a mistake? Did she intend to send it to someone else?

Enrico sat down on the sofa. "Your uncle wants you to go after a traitor," the counselor said. "He took the cash book and a flash drive with important documents". Don Bianchi fell heavily into the armchair. "Do you know where he is?" "I got a text message," the counselor said. "He'll take the book and the flash drive to the Gaspipe leader". Enrico was excited to know that the traitor would meet the leader of the rival gang. This was the perfect opportunity to take revenge on the murderer of his parents.

I get out of my car with my duffel bag in hand and lock it. Just as I was about to go in I see Abby's red convertible parked on the side of the road. She was talking to a girl, her daughter maybe. The girl pulls Abby in for a hug, and immediately Abby reciprocates. They both seemed emotional so I look away, and walk inside. Walking in my mouth falls gape. Almost in every corner there was a pair of kids groping or eating there faces off. Not knowing what else to do I walk over to Adam who was standing in the Conner of the room with his arms crossed.

He then stated firmly, "I'm certain that there is a glitch in the system somewhere." I cleared my throat and said softly, "I know why it happened." In that instant, everyone turned to look at me. Brandon finally took notice of my presence and asked with a scoff, "Didn't we break up already, Mabel? Why are you still shamelessly following me around?" Those surrounding classmates joined in the snickering. "Isn't it obvious? I mean, all of us failed to secure admission, so her presence here is undoubtedly because she was also left without a placement!"

So I stopped arguing, picked up the pen, and signed my name. We'll settle this debt later, I told myself. When they saw my signature, the satisfaction in Wade and Ella's eyes was almost overflowing. Wade even smirked and said, "Want me to transfer you a hundred bucks for cab fare?" I let out an icy laugh. "Keep it. You might need it for your own funeral someday." Ella's face twisted with anger, and she almost snapped again, but Wade quickly pulled her back inside. Before the door fully closed, I heard her muttering under her breath, "Finally got rid of those two burdens."

So i was too mad to eat whatever he made me, even after he forced me to take few bites and that was about it. Uhmm i wonder if we have any candy, mathew did give me some candy the other day. I search the cabinet for some and i find them, only on one of the higher shelf. I'm not that tall to begin with, i climbed over the counter and stood there picking my choice from different chocolate bars, gummy bears and even marshmallow. I carried my prize back to the living room and turn the tv back on. Watching the smurfs and eating the candy, not paying any attention to the world around me.

After three attempts of staring at her fingers in confusion, she threw up her hand and said, “A lot.” “I’m getting that,” Gabe said with a chuckle. He guided them out to the waiting car and stood patiently while Brandon and another bouncer got the other three girls inside. Then Brandon flashed Gabe a sympathetic grin. “Good luck, man. Looks like you have your hands full.” “No shit,” Gabe muttered. He got Bethany and Mia seated and then slid in to sit beside Mia. “You’re aces,” Chessy said, flashing a grin in Gabe’s direction.

“Great Minds” I blinked. “What the hell is this?” I tapped it open. It had three members. Caleb, Conrad and then me. Of course. A message appeared. Caleb: Welcome, idiots. I snorted. Okay. That was actually funny. Another message. Conrad: Why am I here? Caleb: Because you have no life. Conrad: I regret saving your life. Caleb: You’re welcome. I bit my lip, trying not to smile. Then another message popped up.

A battered Latin missal with so many ribbons it looked like a birthday cake. A gust walked the corridor outside, shoved its shoulder against the door. The crucifix above the desk creaked on its nail. Frank and Gabe both looked up, then at each other, and neither of them smiled. Gabe’s phone rattled on the desk—PAL. He answered. “Talk.”
