Freya was too sick to defend herself and the other girls had barely made it to the tree-line before being apprehended by more soldiers in combat fatigues. She had no time to react though because Omar was suddenly charging at the other male, jaws snapping as he aimed for Lucas' shin. Lucas was faster despite being in his human form but his eyes flashed amber as he darted out of the way with ease and grace. Omar was quick to recover though, twisting in a flash to lunge again. This time he did connect with Lucas but the male was there to use Omar's momentum against him, the giant wolf's body slamming into the snow with a thud.

“Single file.” The mages obeyed. Marching into line as he’d directed. “Mages up.” They lifted their hands and took aim. Colored bits of light generating from their hands. “Armed.” He roared. Tossing another black spear as he’d directed them. Bits of light and puffs of smoke filtered into the air. Some even with the right trajectory, but non managed to make much progress. Not clearing anything more than halfway across the Training Gardens. “Again!” He roared.

She asked loudly, waiting for him specifically to answer. War sighed, hating how all of this was turning out. His wolf just wanted to grab their mate and go but unfortunately, it was just not that easy. Not to mention she was upset. "Pomelia is my mate...my name is War from Bane pack," he explained to her, knowing he should just get that out of the way immediately. Bane pack was infamous...not a place where anyone wanted to brag about, at least not in such a holy place.

Right now, our Empire's northern barracks have detected anomalies that involve about one and a half dozen of Giant bandits attacking villagers from there. Remember the sudden appearance of a tsunami a couple of weeks ago? General Gary of the North barracks sent a report to the Academy that those bandits were the ones responsible for that happening," the girl in pigtails explained.

His face contorts with effort as he channels his energy into maintaining the barrier, teeth gritted in concentration.

Magnar evaded with ducks, body twists, and flips. Now Temujin was spinning the kurasi-gama on either side of him. Faster and faster with the sound of a hurricane. Finally, he was moving so fast it appeared as though he had two rings of fire on both sides of him and they rolled out two giant tongue-flames towards Magnar.

“You’re stronger than you think.” Nyomei’s stomach twisted, but she rose anyway. “Thanks,” she said quietly, nerves prickling under her skin. She walked toward the gate that led out to the sparring ground, each step heavier than the last. Across the field, her opponent was already grinning as he warmed up. Wiry, confident, and brimming with kinetic energy. He bounced on the balls of his feet, fists flaring with dull-orange sparks. “Your opponent,” the announcer said, “is Orin Zarrin. Mage class. Energy Burst magic.”
