Hades And Persephone Retelling Novels & Stories

I love talking to her, but once she gets started…’ I snorted. Morrigan took me to meet Persephone when she’d been teaching me. It was a treat to meet the goddess of my people. I’d spent a long time with her and Hades. That was how I knew Anders was nothing like the god. Hades got a bad wrap because he was a god of death... and the whole kidnapping his wife thing, but he was actually a very sweet man. Except when Persephone went to stay with her mother. My heart is pounding really fast! I couldn't stand waiting for her like this! I swear I was praying then, she moved towards the seashore, towards me. Thank God! I did it! What a relief! She stood directly in front of me. I raised my head to face her and with that I smirked. " What can I do for you, goddess?” Oh yes! It's true! She's a beauty! She must be Venus if she was ever real. "Oh, shut up! Stop making fun of me will you?!" she mumbled pouting her lips like a baby before sitting right beside me. I could feel my heart

I closed my eyes, the screams of terror in the room were like music to my ears. I threw my head back, overcome by the desire to feed. Yet I would be patient for my Aphrodite. She needed to eat first. She needed to have her fill. I ran my hands through Aphrodite's hair. She brought her face from the neck of the dead babe, "oh, Abigor, my hunger is not satisfied."
