Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

They or we? The other party that threw our world into chaos was the self-proclaimed animal welfare organization Live for Animals. In an act of charity they broke into Doctor Christopher Krynick's research laboratory to bring the animals to safety. Unfortunately they had no idea what was going on and a well-meaning rescue operation turned into a global catastrophe. The proles first killed their rescuers and then escaped from the research facility to bring a plague of unprecedented proportions to the world. When a hand came to rest on my shoulder and slowly brushed the back of my neck, I tried to ignore the tingling sensation. "You can leave that nice. I'm still mad at you. "

The Black Well Game

The Black Well Game

And then— A child’s laughter echoed from inside. Small. Sweet. But ice-cold. Aarav’s blood turned to stone. “Who’s there?” he asked. No answer. Just that laughter again. And then— From the darkness behind the door, two faintly glowing eyes appeared. At the height of a child. But they weren’t human. Completely still. Completely cold. Like a painted image. Then— It stepped out. Aarav raised his flashlight. And what he saw became the greatest terror of his life.

Claimed By An Entity

Claimed By An Entity

Sitting at her desk in the ordinary afternoon light crying at an email from a small press that wanted to publish a book about women who had been consumed by a haunted house on a hill. She wiped her face. "Come home," she said. "We're celebrating." "I'm already on my way," he said. She looked at the email again. At Margaret's name in the first line of the synopsis she had sent. At Clara's. At Patricia's. At all of them. Given back. Finally properly given back. That evening they celebrated. Liam came through the door with a bottle of decent wine and takeaway from the Indian place she loved. Evelyn had already lit the candles they almost never used and put on the old playlist they’d made during

The Alpha's World Claimed Me

Back in the physical world, Novel’s body collapsed beside Kitty, as he coughed up a splash of blood before slipping into complete unconsciousness. Inside his mind, Alexei faced the dark, monstrous shadow of the Myth standing before him. “You can’t use me for your revenge!” Alexei roared, charging the beast with everything he had. “My mate isn't dead! Give me back my body!” With a final, desperate strike, Alexei slammed into the dark entity, and darkness took him completely. _____ One Year Later It was Novel’s university graduation day. She stood near the podium in her cap and gown, a bright smile on her face as she chatted and snapped photos with her classmates, completely oblivious to the f

Horror Nights

Horror Nights

For a second, Martha saw something in those newborn eyes—a flash of recognition, a familiar spark of defiance that belonged to a girl who had died ten years ago. "Hello, Chloe," Martha whispered, pressing a bloody kiss to the infant's forehead. "I told you I'd bring you home." Behind her, the shadows of the kitchen seemed to stretch and lean in, as if the house itself was exhaling a long-held breath. The horror wasn't in the death, but in the return. Martha walked toward the nursery she had kept perfectly preserved for a decade, her footsteps steady, leaving a trail of dark red prints on the linoleum.

The PUMPKIN LETTER

The PUMPKIN LETTER

I tilted the cover just enough to give them a glimpse. “A witch!” “There’s a kitty!” “Is it about ghosts?” The children scrambled off the adults’ laps and crowded closer. “Halloween is almost here. So today, I’m going to read you a story called *The Wonders of Halloween*.” The children eagerly began telling me about the Halloween decorations they had made at school. Before I knew it, even more of them had gathered around me. “Rin was a girl who was afraid of ghosts and the dark. That was why she could not understand why everyone else wanted to turn into ghosts—”

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

CARSON'S POV "What in the Halloween Town is going on here?" I questioned as I beamed on confused. 'It stinks like Satan's ass in here!'Jinx protested. 'I know buddy,' I told him as I absorb the surrounding. Undead creatures of all shapes and sizes moved around leisurely as they conducted their day-to-day business like they were ordinary living citizens. "This is fucking weird," I complained as I spat to my left, scrunching up my nose at the rancid odour the atmosphere was producing.

One of the best books. I love this writer. I have read 2 of her books so far and I can’t wait for this one and the rejected omega is the lycan Kings mate to be completed. Fiona’s writing skills are on point and she always adds humor to her books. I hope you get some motivation to complete this one.

HELLO AGAIN! I know it has been ages but the book has finally been edited and I have a few new chapters that I’ll be posting in the coming New Year. Some chapters have been split in 2 or 3 due to GoodNovel’s new policy. But if you’ve read the book to the chapter called Alfonso, then you’re good.

The Honeymoon of Death

The Honeymoon of Death

I clenched my hands tightly. Panic gripped me as I recalled the helplessness I had felt in my dying moments during my previous life. When I felt the strength returning to my palms, I was finally certain—I had been reborn. I glanced at the clock, knowing I would be informed that my house was on fire soon. Right on cue, the phone rang. It was our neighbor, Paula Klein. She yelled, "Caroline, get back here! Luna and Liam are home napping. Emery just left, and he isn't picking up his phone! Hurry!"

Dark Shadows

I said. “You really are full of surprises.” He said. And I looked over and smiled at him. “And don’t tell me you hate it.” I said. “I would never tell you that I hated it.” He said. We got to Nashville that night and we were hoping that since this city had already been hit, nobody would be hanging around. We got out of our cars and started looking around, but if there were any survivors they would be too scared to come out at night time. “Well, well. Would you look at who we have here? It’s the werewolf that’s causing us so many problems.” Someone said behind us. So we all spun around and we were being surrounded by vampires.
