Hand Signs For Lightning Blade Novels & Stories

Lyric asked. “Yes. Absolutely.” Kade replied. Lyric frowned. She raised her hands, then lowered them. “I don’t think I can do—” Suddenly, a flash of silver light burst from her palm. She yelped, stumbling back. Her hand glowed. Her eyes widened. “Was that me?!” “Yes,” Kade said, watching her carefully. She stared at her fingers. “It felt like a spark. Like holding lightning… but soft.” “Try again,” Kade urged.

For a moment, I contemplated murder. “Say yes!” Someone shouted and the others followed. “Say yes, say yes!” I felt the pressure in my bones, they were singing in my ears and I gave up. “Yes.” My voice sounded lower than usual. “Louder!” Someone asked. “I SAID FUCKING YES!” I snapped and Mr Montgomery put the ring on my finger before stand standing up. Then, pulled me into his arms and brought his mouth near my ear.

Except it is a dance of blades. Baldy makes his way to the ring and takes his stance opposite me. He winks at me and licks his lips in the most obscene of ways. Maybe I should aim for his tongue first. I tuck the strands of hair behind my ear and stretch out my right hand in front of me with the blade held tight. The tip gleams under the sunlight, it momentarily blinds me and I stagger back slightly. This elicits a laugh from Baldy. “Sweetheart, why don’t you just give up? You can’t even stand straight!”

I shake my head, a small smile still on my lips “Don’t worry your pretty little head for that. Just remember, I’ll protect you!” I extend a fist in his direction, a fierce grin on my face. Zen stares at me and my clenched fingers for long enough to make me embarrassed. “You have to bump it with your own fist.” I tell him, shaking my own one He raised his fist, lightly touching mine “Like this?” “Yep!” A laugh bubbles past my lips “This is a sign of achievement in my world!” “Like the thing with your thumb?” “That’s a sign for ‘everything’s okay’ or ‘I’ve got this.’” I tell him “Something like that, depending on the context.”

The sword suddenly started to buzz. Lourain turned serious as he raised his left hand and slashed out multiple times. The slashes solidified in the air. Lourain was very quick, and his arm left formed after images. The slashes condensed in front of him, solidifying into an aura of light and covered Lourain's body.

Whoosh! Shortly after his words fell, the Grand Elder drew a half circle with his right hand and made a hand sign while chanting, “Divine thunder descends, omnipotent and grand, brilliance of heaven, guided by the sword! “Thunderblade!” A vast sword energy burst forth. It struck directly toward Andrius like divine thunder descending from the clouds. Andrius immediately raised the Linebreaker Overlord to meet it. Whoosh! However, just the first contact made Andrius’ expression change drastically.

Scarlett replied, making the omega nod her head as she remembered Amelia talking about her mate being a warrior. "Here Luna, try this, " Josh extended the blade to Evelyn. "How do you hold the blade? I didn't really see it when you did that before," Evelyn took the blade from his hand. "You hold it like this, " Josh demonstrated, holding a star blade in his hand. "You have to form an 'L' with your fingers when you're holding it. Make sure none of its edges are closer to your skin. Don't move your hand forward when throwing, just use your wrist."

he breathed, the word not blasphemy, not rote prayer. Awe. Luna lifted her right hand, palm up. A little ember of lightning bloomed there—a small, contained sphere of pale white-blue, crackling softly, bright enough to stain her fingers in stark light. With her left hand, she reached back without looking. Elia’s rough, familiar hand slid into it without hesitation. Their fingers laced. Grounding. She lifted their joined hands a fraction.

The young man couldn’t answer and could only give her an acknowledging glance. “Catch!” The beast from the east raised his hand to catch the blade that Luntian tossed. As it circled in the air, the cloth unraveled the darkness of the blade. The opaque color deflected the brightness of the moon and stars. The black blade landed heavily on Calleb’s hand. In a full sweep, Calleb pierced the skulls of the Shadows that were surrounding him. The cracking and breaking of the bones made a terrible sound as the blade drilled against ten of them.
