For a moment I block everything out to think of a way to make it better for her and the child, how we can achieve justice without sacrificing our own humanity. However, before I can come up with something, Elora turns to me and says, “Let’s go.” “Follow us,” I tell the handmaidens, and together they form a neat line with Madam Mara in front, trailing behind Elora like a group of ducklings. I remain behind them, watching in case one of them tries to do something dirty or if one of the guards suddenly wake up. Thankfully none of these things happen. The handmaidens are all following Elora meekly, their heads bowed and their hands twisted in front of them. The guards also remain knocked out, so

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

For now let’s leave Kazuma to his sleeping and see what the people, that he meet in Chigrin, are doing, not far from him, Lady Anna wept without ceasing during the reading of the letter; and Zosia accompanied her, raising her blue eyes to heaven. Meanwhile, and before Sir Geswer had finished, Basira ran in, dressed in woman's garments; and seeing tears in the eyes of the ladies, began to inquire with sympathy what the matter was. Therefore Sir Geswer read the hetman's letter for her; and when she had listened to it carefully, she supported at once and with eagerness the prayers of the hetman and Lady Anna.

The Villainess Wants To Make Baby First, Revenge Later!

The Villainess Wants To Make Baby First, Revenge Later!

That is the short story of the romantic novel she had heard during her life in Indonesia. 'Bastard! I've never done those terrible things! I've never slept with anyone other than Hayden, my husband! But why is my baby have not the royal family’s blood? Crazy… this is all crazy… this world really just sided with the plot of that damn novel! My ten years of hard work so that I don't have the same fate as the villainess Fuschia in the novel, turns out to be in vain.' Fuschia sobbed as the guards pushed her roughly into the narrow old wooden wagon while clutching her baby tightly.

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

I’m too frightened to be hurt or proud, so I beg, “Please, Gwen! This is life or death!” “It was too, with Nina and Madeline! You’ve made your choices, bitch. Now live with them!” I realize with a growing pit in my stomach, that Gwen is not going to let me inside of this room. It’s a safe room, she said so herself, but to me, it might as well have been on a different planet. Then, thinking of all the harem members locked inside, I had to ask, “Is Bethany in there with you?” “Why the hell would we save the handmaidens?” another girl scoffs.

I have read so many of your books on this app. They are all so amazing. I just know that this story will be just as amazing as your other ones. Thank you for being such a great writer and author. I am excited to keep reading another story of yours.

Great story! But I did feel that there were some inconsistencies, e.g. the baby. Also Harper doesn't end up as a surrogate, so I'm not sure the title accurately captures the essence of the book. I also felt that the ending was a bit rushed. When did Caleb realise that Harper was his mate?

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

Now, I know for a fact that a great number of handmaids are abused by him, which is why many handmaids quite with in a few weeks amd it's why new handmaids are recruited more often. The ones who stuck around have their own little system. Misha- my handmaid- had mentioned that the handmaids know not to be alone in the quarters need Dorian's chambers. Alone, a girl might be easy to overpower, but two, three girls at once are too much for Dorian to handle. Slightly shaking my head, I focused on my plate but a loud scream echoed towards the dining hall and mt heart dropped in my stomach. I dropped my knife and fork on the plate before I pushed myself off my chair.

Wonderful story with very engaging characters. Overall this needs good editing, spell checks, etc. but the story and character developments flowed well that my internal translator was automatically engaged.

Hold Me Tight, Alpha

Hold Me Tight, Alpha

The maid seemed to understand the silent plea in her eyes, and Isabella felt a spark of hope flicker within her. Later that night, as Isabella lay on her hard, damp mattress, she heard a soft tapping at her cell door. She sat up, her heart racing with anticipation. The door creaked open, and the head maid slipped inside, carrying a small plate of warm soup and crackers. Isabella’s eyes widened with surprise and gratitude as she took the plate from the maid's hands. She felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she took her first sip of the warm soup. It was the first proper meal she had had in what felt like weeks.

The head maid said, biting her lips and avoiding Carly's eyes Kihara closed her eyes as she felt anger surging inside of her, she tried to hold it back even as she wanted to explode and do something immediately. She looked at the head maid, then at Carly who took her hand, gesturing that she should be calm with her eyes as she caressed her fingers. Carly looked at the handmaid who was still avoiding her eyes, she asked her to look up at her which the head maid did. "Please I don't want to die now, I have my siblings to take care of. Gambled To The Cursed Lycan King

Gambled To The Cursed Lycan King

Adalia was not still from exhaustion of labor nor did she breathe a sigh of relief, she gave out her last breath. She was dead. An icy feeling snaked up from inside my stomach and clawed around my throat, squeezing mercilessly. I choked and coughed. How many more deaths did I have to see before I finally snapped and lost it? The handmaid fell on the floor immediately, her mouth opening and I could tell from her expression that she was howling a mournful tune. The healer's helper brought back the thankfully healthy baby who was by all indications still alive.

she went to Wren on her bed as the unpenetrable block of ice was halfway melted on her body. “Thank goodness you are alright.” Beth added while the commander stared at her hands, still confused, what just happened to her? Did she just lost her emotion over a rookie?—she then stared at the now elated handmaids with the princess. “Seriously, speaking who are these handmaids?” After, she glanced at Abbey— Not saying anything about the princess being free from her slumber but stared out of the huge now melting window frame. What is actually going on in here? .

I Woke Up As The Female Lead In My Favorite Novel

“So don’t act innocent now.” He lets out a gasp, I felt like I said something u shouldn't have but I have no time to process it. I just run. His golden eyes burn in the back of my mind the whole way down the stairs. The hallways are quiet, but I already know exactly where I’m going. Of course I do. I’ve read the twenty series of this book, almost twenty times. Except the last copy. Elara lives in the girls’ dormitory across the courtyard. She doesn’t have roommates — or at least she wasn’t supposed to. Her room was her sanctuary.
