OLIVIA Hangover is a bitch and I’m never drinking again. By the time I made it up the stairs last night and into my bed, I blacked out. I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up. Sweet Sharlene held my hair though and cleaned me up when I was done. When I woke up in the morning, I felt dead. My eyelids were heavy and they hurt a lot. The sun streaming into the room didn’t even help. Luckily there was aspirin and a bottle of water waiting by the side of my bed. I made a mental note to thank Sharlene later for it.

STELLA The hangover was horrible—everywhere ached. But unfortunately, it didn’t blur the memory of every word James and I shared last night. Everything was still crystal clear. I blinked and turned to the side where James was supposed to be, and it was empty. I quickly sat up, my heart skipping a beat. Dragging myself off the bed, I headed out of the room. I must’ve gone back to sleep at some point in the car ride through the city because I wake up, completely disorientated, in a very familiar bed; Sarah’s loud snoring and body next to me. I sit up, warily, as the spinning nausea and headache of the world’s worst hangover hits me, and I push down the urge to throw up.

CLARISSA’S POV. The aching in my skull ebbs and flows like a cold tide, yet the pain is always there. I understand at once why they call it a hangover. From the pounding head, vomit taste in my mouth and dehydrated feeling I feel, I figured I must have been drinking heavily last night. My throat felt like sandpaper. It hurt to move. It was like the flu only self-inflicted, Maybe I could sleep it off. Thinking that I curled under the duvet and closed my eyes.

The woman realized after confirming at home. The woman makes apple pie in two containers. And one of them was tagged by him because it contained the medicine he mixed and the woman was going to give Olivia. While yesterday confirming the container used for her apple pie, the woman realized that she had just given her husband a sizeable dose of medicine.
