The Harley fishtailed, caught traction, and launched forward again.
One SUV clipped a dumpster, metal screaming as it spun out. Two left.
“Marcus won’t stop,” she said, voice trembling. “He’ll kill you.”
“He’s gonna have to catch me first.”
Another SUV roared up beside us, trying to pin us against the guardrail.
“Ryder!”
I gritted my teeth, twisted the throttle. The engine screamed. Just before they could ram us, I braked hard, swerving behind them.
The Harley slid close enough for me to see the driver’s face.... cold, focused, hired muscle.
