Max’s POV I had one hell of a day. I was sore, but nothing that the sweet Minerva Jones cannot fix. She whipped me up something from her little portable drawer like bag of potions and dropped a few of it’s yellow content in my tea. She reminded me of professor Snape from my favorite sequel, Harry Potter. The only difference was, miss Minerva was a happy soul. Snape was grumpy.

Kara came last, her violet eyes narrowed, her silver hair pulled back from her face. The half-blood collapsed at Elif's feet. He was young, barely more than a boy, his dark skin streaked with dirt and dried blood. His left arm hung at a strange angle, broken and untreated. His breath came in ragged gasps. I can still smell his scent and apple-mint breath. Bell goes off for lunch, I rush to the photography-club room, where he wouldn’t find me. I should just keep myself busy. It should help keep him out of my head. I open my laptop and start scrolling through the picture of the members of the club. So far, I’ve gotten twenty students to apply, and most of them are crushing on Arthur. I knew having him in the club would mean more members. I watched as he boxed the bottles up and placed a gift ribbon around each of them.

Said he wanted to guide wolves like me, those pushed from their packs, those wrongfully named traitors.” I scoffed. “Turned out he was the real traitor.” Her breath hitched. “Lorenzo… D’Amaris?”
