Akira who was still trying to catch her breath raised her index finger, she caught her breath and replied, “that spell did not only reveal things about me.” The next bend they took brought them to the reading table where they met rune who was already seated with a large volume of books piled up before him in threes and fives. He would take over all universes and no one but me would be able to stop him. The problem is would I be able to. I set the papers on my lap just in case. I looked at the book and I had to close my eyes. There were tabs marking certain pages. I would look to see what he marked off before trying to tap into the magic. I skimmed through the book to the first tab. (Unbreakable wards.) Was the first spell he was looking at. I had to leave sooner than now, I should've left yesterday because if he got these wards up only my full magic could break them and that would take time that I most likely would never get.

So my hand smashed hard behind him again, twice, and three times in a row. Hagrid lay between my legs with his eyes closed. H U N T E R J O N E S I was reading the second Harry Potter book while leaning against the wall in the alley with Ty on my side. I knew Mey had asked me to read the Goblet of Fire to figure out the three unforgivable curses, but after picking the book randomly, I felt that I owed it to the author to read it from the first book. So I had picked up Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone from the library yesterday, finished the book in seven hours, and had it returned this morning. When I had returned the first one, I immediately borrowed the second one: Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets which was the book I was reading right now.

But due to the appearance of the lady boss, I had thought Draco was changing, but it seems he was still the feared devil in the underworld. I could already hear the heart wrenching screams as soon as we got out of the elevator and entered the corridor, making our way to the room at the end of the hallway. The pungent smell of blood and sweat and rotten body parts due to wounds on some of the prisoners that were left untreated filled our nostrils, but Draco seemed unfazed as he took calculated and controlled steps towards the door. Draco made his way to the huge chair that was reserved for him anytime he came around to watch and sat down like a king. Only that he looked like the king of hell.

The old woman's words hung in the air long after she said them. "The Bride of the Ninth Life has returned." Nobody moved. Not Kai, Not Draven, Not even the servant. The whole courtyard had turned to stone around me, and I stood in the middle of it, shaking, with no idea why a stranger kneeling on cold marble made me feel like the ground had opened under my feet. Ninth life?? What did that even mean? I looked at Kai. His jaw was tight enough to crack. I looked at Draven. For the first time since I'd met him, he wasn't smiling.

After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.
