Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

I’d be the one to extinguish it. I cloaked myself in an Everley concealment spell, subtle, elegant, not the brutish nonsense the Hawthorne combat brats favored, and slipped into the upper alcove of the Great Hall. From here, I could see everything: the faculty seated in careful formation beneath the glowing chandeliers, the gathered student body fanned out in social clusters, and at the far rear entrance, the moment the anomaly herself stumbled through the doors. Late. Of course.

The Broken Princess at Alpha Academy

The Broken Princess at Alpha Academy

What if they have been suspicious since the very first second I set foot here? I stand in the back corner, getting the clearest view of the entire Great Hall. The room is magnificent, lit by torches mounted along the walls. A chandelier with thousands of candles hangs from the high ceiling. Fascinating, classic, but feels... ancient. Far across from me, on a stone podium, stands an old man with one eye covered. The aura radiating from him reaches all the way to where I stand. It’s Headmaster Horgus. “Welcome to hell!”

My 7 Deadly Stepbrothers

My 7 Deadly Stepbrothers

He always looked like he could easily read what was going on in someone’s head. How could I sit across from him, knowing what I’d done? What I was feeling? The fear that he might see right through me gnawed at my insides. As I sipped my orange juice, I heard light footsteps approaching. I looked up to see Harry entering the dining area, his face lighting up when he saw me. He was wearing a uniform of some sort, and his sandy hair was slightly tousled, giving him a boyish charm that made me smile despite everything.

Echoes of Ruin

Echoes of Ruin

Elias hung back by Nora, mumbling something that made her smirk before they melted away through the side archway. I stayed behind to help Maeve collect the leftover rune-sketched table markers. Her delicate fingers moved fast, but her jaw was set in a way she hadn’t had at the start of the meeting. The low thrum of magic in the air still hummed in my ears, like static that clung to the Great Hall from all the different energies bouncing off each other over the last two hours. She didn’t look at me when she spoke. “Has anyone from your year said anything about the pull?”

Shadow And Flame Chronicles Book 1 Ethereal Bonds

Shadow And Flame Chronicles Book 1 Ethereal Bonds

The magical outburst has left me hollow, as if something vital has been scooped from my center, leaving only echoing emptiness behind. We reach the bottom of the stairs, the Great Hall stretching before us like a cavern of ancient stone and timber. Morning light filters through high windows, catching on the carved dragons that flank the massive hearth. Their crystal eyes seem to track our progress, flaring brighter as we approach—or maybe that's just my exhaustion playing tricks on my vision.

The Alpha's Triangle

The Alpha's Triangle

I straddled him to deepen the kiss when we heard a whistle behind us. “If I had known you guys would give this kind of show, I would’ve brought popcorn.” I broke away to see George and Harry walking towards them. I jumped up to greet them, pulling them both into a hug. “What are you guys doing here?!” “You think we’ll leave you going against a crazy witch without our help. Besides, I have never seen a grimoire up close before,” Harry said with a sparkle in his eye. I looked at George, who rolled his eyes as Harry gushed about the books Mirja let him keep.

Roza
Hate the fact that she ends up with Isaiah. You should've killed Isaiah instead of James. Zira deserved her true happily ever after! Making them second chance mates is just throwing salt on the wounds of Zira. Basically she went through that crap for nothing, since she ends up right where she starts

I enjoyed this book, I was so glad I was able to read the second part on a different app so that I could see how the story ended for Zira and James. I figured they would end up together because felt hints of a spark, not to mention even when fated to others they still loved each other.

The Darke Princess

The Darke Princess

"I don't blame you, kiddo. Just keep trying the doors, maybe they'll take the hint. Once they learn to trust you, it'll stop." As they entered the crowded Great Hall, Gretchen looked around at all the people. "Jesus, are we even going to find a place to sit?" The rows of long wooden tables and benches were filled with Daniel's army, family and other guests. "Maybe we should just leave and go get drunk instead." Haldir grinned through his bushy beard. "You didn't think you were getting out of this that easily, did you?" "I was kind of hoping," she said. "Sitting in a room full of people I don't even know isn't my idea of fun."

" No doubt Draco for life ... By the way good choice." " Isn't Draco only Cynthia's words? " He is cool," replied Cynthia. Both the potter heads kept on talking about their harry potter world until they reached the main hall. As they reached the main hall they stood near the lift waiting for it to arrive as their classroom was on the 5th floor. They already walked through the 1 -2 km long pass way from the sports ground the school had in front so they had no energy left to walk through the staircases again. Everyone kept staring at Cynthia and why won't they .she had an attractive personality. A personality that makes everyone passing through stop and look back However, Cynthia was never i

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

They wore full armour, helmets that covered their faces, and they had spears that didn’t look symbolic. “Gosh, I’m glad to see you guys,” said Maurice, without missing a beat. “Is this the way to the main assembly hall? We’ve been wandering around these passages for nearly an hour and my feet are killing me.” He smiled ingratiatingly, all wide-eyed with innocence. The small of my back was cold with sweat. Watching someone else play the role of blagger-in-chief was even more nerve-racking than playing the role myself. “How do we even get out of this place? Is there a map? I didn’t see one in the gift shop.” He couldn’t have come across more enthusiastic if you’d told him Alan Moore and George
