She took it in front of the door, panting. She panicked and jerked up in fear when Harry started pounding loudly on the door. She saw how the door visibly moved. She began taking small steps back in fear. She feared that the door might break and Harry might do something. Something really awful. She didn’t know where her aunt was. She would have never let this happen if she was home. Harry would be within his limits and wouldn’t have pounced on her like a raging bull. “‘No. Pleased don’t,” her lips quivered as she muttered to herself.

Whether he was Morgan or Draco, she didn't want him in her life anymore. Morgan raised his hand to wipe away her tears; he just couldn't keep seeing her crying so hysterically and heartbroken. But when she saw his action, she flinched and backed away from him with her eyes filled with fear. His pupils shrank violently as he stared at her. ‘She was afraid of him. Did she think he would hurt her?’ He thought.

He stated. "Yes, I don't. But that doesn't mean I want you to stay behind." I declare, before closing my eyes to force my statement out. "What's it, Scarlett?" Orlan question, because he noticed that I'm holding in some unsaid words. I forced my eyes open and then tears started falling from my eyes. I have never behaved weak in front of others, but in Orlan, cause I just break down easily. "I'm scared!" I mumble while biting my lower lip. "I'm scared that other supernatural creatures would come and invade the mansion. Besides wolves, witches, and Vampires have all done their worst, but I haven't seen elves, dragons, zombies....."

She gripped Harry’s hand tightly, her fingers trembling as she tried to comfort him. Harry didn’t even flinch, his eyes fixed on some invisible point beyond the room, as if he hadn’t heard a word. The tension in the room felt like it could crack the walls. I shifted uncomfortably, feeling like I didn’t belong here. “Mom… please tell me Sasha isn’t getting married,” Harry choked out, his voice trembling. Tears clung to his lashes, and for a moment, he looked like a frightened child seeking comfort. His hands clutched at his mother’s arm, desperate for reassurance.

“Gosh, that fuckin’ scared me!” Henry yelps, duckin’ so low I think he might hit the floor. My heart’s still racing from the shock. I was dead sure it was that creepy hooded figure from earlier. My mind had already gone full horror-film mode. Thought I’d clocked eyes with a ghost, or somethin' worse. Now here’s Henry, poppin' outta nowhere like some scarecrow. “I nearly pissed myself, you idiot!” I snap, hand on my chest as I collapse into the chair.

My sharp gaze swept over every one of them. Adam's face drained of color, and panic flashed in his eyes. Zoe's smile froze, and the phone in her hand slipped, hitting the floor with a loud clang. Anna instinctively staggered backward. The other coworkers lowered their heads, too guilty to meet my eyes. "What does she mean? Was this accident a setup?" "That's terrifying. Is this some kind of horror workplace story?" The murmurs around us grew louder. The police sensed something was wrong and turned to me with grave expressions. "Miss, what do you mean by that? Please explain yourself clearly."

Harlow thought it was her imagination, but when she blinked several times and he remained there, she couldn't help but scream. Hastily, she covered her mouth not to attract any unwanted attention. Harlow's mind became so hazy as she knew this wasn't real; it was all her mind doing to scare her. However, it never meant she wasn't scared of the unknown being in front of her. Her breathing had fastened, and she felt like she was going to faint from the pure shock that she just witnessed.

I said, feigning innocence. I glanced around after speaking. It was true. There wasn't a single living person in sight, but ghosts were everywhere. "This place is cursed!" Charlotte snapped. "I can't even stop. The moment I even think about it, it feels like needles are piercing my hands." Even as she spoke, her hands kept moving. Fear flickered across her face at the scene before her. The terror in her eyes was truly a rare sight to behold. "Is this your doing? Did you come up with all these tricks to scare me? You just want revenge for all the times I picked on you at school, don't you?"

My heart leapt and plummeted all at once. I wanted her to explain the photo, to tell me it was a mistake — that she loved me and only me. But by the time I dragged myself out of the shower, cold water shocking my nerves into awareness, she was gone. Vanished. Like some impossible mirage that my heart still aches for. Kettle whistling loudly on the stove. The fear hit me then, sharper than anything I’ve ever known. Picture Harry Potter staring down a Boggart-turned-Dementor — multiply that terror by a hundred-thousand, add another billion for good measure — and sprinkle in a dash of sheer panic.

I hoped Harry would give us a few hours of undisturbed sleep. I didn’t know what I expected her to pick, but it wasn’t a horror movie. “You want to watch this?” I asked when she handed me a DVD case. “Yeah,” she said matter-of-factly. “Unless you have seen it before and don’t want to watch it again?” “I’ve… I’ve never watched it,” I admitted. I kept to myself that I was terrified of scary movies. As a kid, even those crime shows gave me nightmares. That was a secret I would keep close to my heart lest my pristine reputation was tarnished.
