Jumping on two vampires who stood still I ended them and because of the weird noises made by them, most of the people's eyes snapped towards me as I slowly moved my claw out from the vamps body with two hearts stuck to my claws. "Ah, my daughter you're quite good at this just like me. Already trained but sad cause soon you will be nothing but a soul residing in me and helping me with my work." The shadow said as I growled at him, too loud that most of the wolves had to move away from me or whimper in pain cause of the voice. "Haha! You think this attitude of yours will do any good to you?" He questioned but soon my vision was blocked by a big black wolf and one normal brown wolf.

Silver POV “MATE?!” my wolf Shadow screamed. Mate? I have a mate. This shivering and shaking girl is my mate. My wolf Shadow kept on shouting, mate, while moving around in my head. “Will you chill out!!” I yelled. “Mate! mate! mate!” He kept on chanting. I rolled my eyes. He has finally lost it. I look at my mate. I can’t see her face. Her hair is covering it. I moved closer, trying to sniff her again, but she must have thought I wanted to bite her or eat her, so she started shaking more.

But the idea of him running back to my dad with notes made my head fuzzy with rage. "Lorcan. You're up," Ravenna called out. I looked at the grass as he pulled his shirt off. He smirked at me. I didn't look up until the sound of shifting bones finished. Shadow was a monster. Lorcan’s wolf was black as ink and massive. He stood a full head taller than me. He puffed his chest out, his snout tilted down as he looked me over. My legs felt heavy, like they were sinking into the mud. I wanted to cower. I didn't. I held his gaze just like Ravenna taught me. My tail brushed my legs, but I didn't back down.

Slowly, agonizingly, we climbed back to solid ground. But the First anticipated. One tendril lashed out, smashing a massive tree into the earth between us. Splinters exploded, smoke curling, and we stumbled back, separated again. The shadow pulsed, feeding off our fear. Its voice echoed: You will lose everything you hold dear. My wolf howled, angry and feral, energy flaring in response. We couldn’t retreat. Not now. Not ever. The ground beneath me cracked violently, and a massive spike of dark energy erupted, aimed directly at my chest. I barely rolled aside, heart hammering but when I looked up, the shadow’s humanoid form was towering over me, fully solid, eyes glowing brighter than ever.

Growling, I fight against the wolf, bucking my body and swiping my claws until I manage to make contact with its skin, but that doesn’t stop it from holding me down. ‘What now?’ Hana demands, trying to lend me her strength but finding that she is unable to. ‘They’re getting the advantage; what if...’ She doesn’t finish her words before the wolf on top of me disappears, and I find myself staring up at Forrest, and just by the smug look in his eyes, I know that he isn’t going to let me live this down. Huffing, I try to get up, but stop as what feels like fire begins to race through my veins, paralyzing me as the darkness that has been with me the whole time starts to erupt, following the fire

Shadow was a hybrid who has joined our warriors from the shadow moon pack who has a rear ability. The girl's eyes widened as Shadow approached her, his tail held high. She looked like she was about to bolt, but I could see the fear in her eyes. She knew she couldn't outrun a the big wolf. His aura pressed down on me with crushing weight, but as my violet eyes met his glowing red ones, a faint flicker of silver stirred within me—an unfamiliar strength, desperate to rise to the surface. “The prophecy was never yours to claim, Alpha. She was never yours.” Elara stepped forward before I could stop her. “Who are you?” “Don’t,” I warned, catching her arm. But the figure raised its head, and for the first time I saw its eyes, hollow, ringed with silver light, like a wolf’s, but dead. My wolf snarled, teeth bared. “Rogue,” I spat. The figure smiled, thin and sharp. “Not rogue. I'm the Shadow.” It moved then, too fast, darting back into the trees.
