Phobos pipes in telling me of his doubts about my accomplishment of his exercise. Grinding my teeth I claw on it and adding pressure to it has a piece pop up from the page. I startle dropping the book to the grass floor, caught off guard. Peering in I see fur peeking from underneath the piece. Time is running out. Taking a small breath I slowly tear the piece from the book. It comes off easily as if it was meant to whilst uncovering a small picture of four baby wild hares sleeping in a basket. There weren't merely four hares but eight.

Fuck my planning, fucking the research, the time is now. An array of tools hung from hooks on the wall to my right. I scanned the items slowly, a few rakes, a pickaxe, a couple of crowbars, and some axes. My eyes landed on a hatchet, the blade glinting from the dim light on the roof. It's no Sai blade, but it’ll still get the job done. I took the axe from the hook and tossed it up in front of me. The handle spun in a full three-sixty before landing in my hand again. I sucked my teeth and nodded my head with a newfound sense of determination. Clutching the bloodied pole in one hand and the hatchet in the other, I rolled my shoulders back and sauntered out of the shed.

The hydra turned its attention to us. When it focused on Meredith, Hakeem jumped in front of her, slashing at its open maw. But the beast’s saliva hit him, burning through his shirt and skin like acid. Hakeem’s scream of agony and Meredith’s cry of his name will haunt my nightmares. “Tesoro!” I screamed. With strength I didn’t know I had, I yanked the half-severed head from the hydra’s neck and hurled it aside. I leapt from the beast’s body to scoop Hakeem up.

He said to himself, slowly, “This book... is said to contain the eternity. No living on... can ever replace its essence...” “So foolish,” I commented abruptly, and the curves in his lips only widened. “That's! How can he smile while holding the book? Is it really contain the eternity?!” Alarkin... is just a foolish. So how can he be the very figure of that night? The next moment I wake up, the news of losing the class already reach the institution. “I'm dead?!” I almost couldn't believe how this world really revolve. “It's been a month,” the veil-woman inform, “so authority of this place thought you, together with your group, is dead!”

He’d always been a big man, but somehow, he’d gotten bigger. His flannel alone must’ve had the word ‘extra’ in it’s size at least three times over. A hatchet was gripped firmly in his hand, and was comically small in comparison to his meaty fist. With one smooth swing, he lobbed a chunk of wood in two, splitting it right down the center. It tumbled to the ground, ignored as he plucked another and repeated his earlier motions.

The metal of the chains clicked shut around my left wrist and then my right. Panic flooded my system. "Stop!" I tried to pull against the chains. Nothing worked. Tears began to burn my eyes. "Let me go!" He came closer. I was quick to drive my left knee right up into his ribs as hard as I could.

"Aren't you worried your brother might go to jail? I haven't given you the settlement agreement." "Taking that many lives is a capital crime. My brother was just a tool. I don't really care whether he lives or dies." Daniel stared at Chloe in disbelief, finally realizing how terrifying she was. I turned off the recorder on my phone. Watching the two of them tear each other apart was almost entertaining.
