“You have us,” I instantly assured her. “I know we fucked up, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t be here if you need me.”
She sat up and wiped her cheeks.
“I know we fucked up, but that’s not the only reason why you want to put a stop to this, is it?”
“I’m scared of dying alone,” she whispered. “Right now, I am alone. I have no family, no real friends. I know I have you, and I love all of you. The last thing I want is to have to choose between the four of you.”
