Running Away From My Alpha Mafia Husband

Running Away From My Alpha Mafia Husband

Her face paled for a fraction of a second before hardening again. She turned toward me. "Caden," she said, urgency coating her voice. "I need to speak with you." I frowned but followed her aside. "A maid just called," she continued, feigning panic. "Adele hasn't returned home. She went out for a walk hours ago. This isn't like her." The room tilted, lights dimming as if someone was sucking them with a giant straw. My wolf surged forward, claws scraping against my ribs––I nearly exploded.

EXCLUSIVE NIGHT WITH MY HOCKEY MAN

EXCLUSIVE NIGHT WITH MY HOCKEY MAN

He stormed out without another word. The door slammed behind him. I waited until the echo faded before pulling my phone out again. Still no reply from Adeline. She’d read it, I was sure of it. But she hadn’t said anything back. The little Canary that makes me even more intrigued. She wasn’t just some drunk girl who made a mistake. She knew what she was doing. She looked me in the eye and dared me to cross the line—and when I did, she didn’t flinch. And now she was hiding?

Owned By my father's Enemy

Owned By my father's Enemy

Camilla's lips curved slowly. "That's exactly what I'll do," she said. "Now that Ronan has allowed me to stay in his house, I won't waste this opportunity." Her eyes hardened with resolve. Adaline POV After cleaning up the kitchen, Adaline stood still, unsure of what to do next. Going back to her room suddenly felt suffocating. The walls there seemed to close in on her, heavy with memories she didn't want to sit with. She considered walking around the mansion instead, maybe taking one of the long corridors Mrs. Margareta usually walked with her, pointing out old portraits and forgotten stories. But Mrs. Margareta wasn't around.

MY EX-MATE WANTS ME BACK

MY EX-MATE WANTS ME BACK

Adeline was shocked. “Are these werewolves able to read minds?” Adeline thought in her mind. “We can't read minds but it's written all over your face. Your expressions are kinda readable.” Josephine told her how they can tell what's going on in her mind. When Adeline was back in Allister house everyone was happy to have her back. She noticed only Vasili was missing there. So she excused herself and went to meet her husband. When she opened the door the room was dark and it was filled with smoke.

Divorcing The Billionaire On Valentine's Day

Divorcing The Billionaire On Valentine's Day

Dad certainly wouldn’t take her in, so unless she was ready to do fight for survival at Lila’s house, she could be homeless. The moment we were in her room, the door slapped behind us. Adeline stood beside it, one hand on her waist while her foot tapped furiously against the marble floor. “Now, what exactly was it I was supposed to hear?” She grunted. “Adeline, it might have started as revenge. I know it doesn’t even make it any better.” I dropped her bags gently beside her bed. I wanted her to see I meant every word, but I couldn’t look at her, not when she stared me down like she was ready to eye laser through me. The worst part was the disgust in her eyes.

Vengeance Brought Me To His Bed

Vengeance Brought Me To His Bed

He obviously hated Adele's guts and I knew I could use that to my advantage when the right time came. He also was quite gullible, and I only needed to feed him for the meantime. There would come a time when he would take my hands and be my tool for revenge, I wasn't over with that, I only had gotten extremely fueled. I found Adele in the mansion’s garden some days ago. Ever since the incident, I hadn't seen her, nor did I hear a thing about the incident anywhere. It felt like nothing had happened or maybe they was no such person as Adele in the house, I had begun to wonder maybe she was taken by someone else, but then I found her sitting at a corner of the garden, she looked so deep in her t

A dazzling rays of the Sun awoke her. She has no one next to him, she is alone. She tearfully sat on the side as she got up and raised her knees as she hugged her knees. Her eyes searched for Third. Only its jacket was left to him. She sat idiotically and waited for Third to return, maybe it just went somewhere. But after an hour it didn’t come back. She decided to leave the place. Omega (Book 2)

Omega (Book 2)

Wade gulped. “Just our friend,” Harold chanted in the most nonchallant manner he could manage. Wade was finding it more difficult keeping cool but the more he tried to wriggle himself free from Harold and Wilkes, the more he was stuck to them. It was like he was getting swallowed in a sinking sand. “Oh,” he said. “Where's she?” They all kept on walking. The Generals Building was right in their front and if they kept up with their pave for the next thirty seconds, they were going to be at the front of the building.

A Night With Mr President

A Night With Mr President

I swiped the notes and began reading. About five hours had passed and Adeline was still reading not realizing how long it had been that she had not been seen in the 'Actual world' ~~~~~~ "Adeline" I heard someone's voice call out my name but I had simply thought it was Christan's voice in my imagination, I yawned and rubbed my eyes tiredly not realizing the person staring at me, my back ached from laying down against the cold tiles, I had to change position when It was necessary. "Are you going to keep ignoring me?" I heard the person say again and furrowed my eyebrows, placing the book beside me and plopped up on my elbows. My eyes widened on seeing the person leaning against the shelf, sta

Man, diving into that second book was an intense experience. The storyline gets more complex, focusing on unraveling the whole conspiracy behind the Z organization. Adeline’s past becomes a major driving force, forcing her to dig deeper into the secrets surrounding her family's death.

We see her relationship with Zade getting more complicated. He’s struggling with his own motives and his growing feelings for her, which blurs the lines of his control. They have these sharp confrontations—it's a push-and-pull dynamic where their trust is constantly being tested, not just with each other but also with new allies that might not be what they seem.

And the tension ramps up so much. There’s a specific scene where Adeline confronts a key figure from the Z network, and the psychological chess game there had me completely on edge. It sets things up for a third book that feels absolutely necessary.
