Micah POV I woke this morning for the last day of final exams. I immediately walked across the hall to wake up my brothers, then next door to my sister’s room and find she is still gone? I quickly went about my duties, dusting and tidying, wanting nothing more than to be gone before he returned. I was almost done when the door creaked open behind me. My blood ran cold. Hilton. Edgar and Charles are there too. I closed the mind link and continued driving to the northern gate. Once there, I see Isaiah waiting for me. I walk up with him when Edgar and Charles approach me. “Alpha Aiden, we need to discuss your mate.” “Thalia is in labor, about to give birth to my daughters. She sent me here to release that asshole.” I said pointing at Heath. “Plus, we want to understand about the blast. Reaching back into the recesses of my mind, I search for Adeline. 'Adeline,' I whisper weakly in my mind. 'I am here,' her voice and presence is weak within me. 'What happened?' I ask her hoping that she remembers more than what I do. 'I don't know,' Adeline's voice is fading softer and softer. 'But I feel myself fading away.' Silent tears flowed out as I dipped lower in the mattress. My headache had finally resided by the time I woke up. The curtains were drawn on the window and it was already dark outside. I stared out at the moonless night beyond as my heard wrapped around the reality. Sighing inaudibly, I turned around and saw Adeline hunched over her study table, her nose poking into a book. She was really engrossed into whatever she was reading. Getting off the bed, I tiptoed toward her. As my shadow fell over her book, she turned around, "Oh, hi, you are finally up." Putting the bookmark inside the page, she continued, "How is your headache?"

Vaelora Fuck! 'Haunting Adeline' caused all these. It rewired my brain in ways I still don’t understand. And now, I don't know if I love being stalked or if I hated it. Well, if I'm to analyse it.. if I try to be honest with myself I loved the thrill I read from the story when Adeline was being stalked by Zade. The way he watched Adeline, the way his presence was always there, heavy and intoxicating. It made my pulse race. Yet, I hated the fact that her stalker got eery and eery every freaking page I flipped. Like dude, either step into the light or crawl back into whatever shadow you crawled out of.
