Haunting Adeline Chapter 1 Mga Nobela at Kwento

Adele’s Pov I woke up the next morning with a headache. I groaned as I opened my eyes then shut them quickly. The sunlight streaming in hurt them. I was tired and sore, with no memory of what had happened the previous night. I tried to open them again and was able to keep them open. I looked round. I was in one of the bedrooms and I was alone. My heart skipped in fear. What had happened last night? I tried to remember. It was all a blank. But my underwear was missing and I was sore. I looked at the bed and the soiled sheets confirmed my fears. I’d had sex.

Vaelora Fuck! 'Haunting Adeline' caused all these. It rewired my brain in ways I still don’t understand. And now, I don't know if I love being stalked or if I hated it. Well, if I'm to analyse it.. if I try to be honest with myself I loved the thrill I read from the story when Adeline was being stalked by Zade. The way he watched Adeline, the way his presence was always there, heavy and intoxicating. It made my pulse race. Yet, I hated the fact that her stalker got eery and eery every freaking page I flipped. Like dude, either step into the light or crawl back into whatever shadow you crawled out of.

Ada Steele:- With a wild gasp of repulsion, I awoke, my hand darting to my chest where a moment before the dagger had struck through my heart, or rather what had seemed a moment. It felt as though my lungs were burning, my throat was scorched, and I was gazing with wide-open eyes at the gentle morning light pouring in the usual transparent curtains. My heart was beating with great thudding, my bosom heaving up and down under violent gasps of breath, as I gazed around this small, humble room, formerly my own, in the packhouse.

They all spilled out on to a large lawn where right in front of them, there stood a view, straight out of a Thomas Kinkade painting with a large mansion; "Welcome to Hale Academy!" xXxXx (End of Chapter One Word Count: 1972 Total Word Count: 7637)

Crash! Adeline flinched as the sound of shattering glass echoed from the other wing of the house. The sudden commotion pulled her from her seat; a storm was brewing, and she could already guess the source. In the hallway, a scene of domestic tyranny unfolded. Eleanor stood over one of the maids, her face contorted with a rage that aged her beyond her years. At her feet lay a mangled designer dress and a shattered glass, the floor a hazardous mosaic of liquid and shards.

Adeline was shocked. “Are these werewolves able to read minds?” Adeline thought in her mind. “We can't read minds but it's written all over your face. Your expressions are kinda readable.” Josephine told her how they can tell what's going on in her mind. When Adeline was back in Allister house everyone was happy to have her back. She noticed only Vasili was missing there. So she excused herself and went to meet her husband. When she opened the door the room was dark and it was filled with smoke.

My feet cripples and I collapse on the van floor. A hand pick me up and throw me at the corner. They slammed the boy to my side. He wheezed. I gasp. His head hits my rib side, sending black spots to my eyes. I’m still coughing and gasping for air when a shoe heel pressed itself in my head. Forcing me to bend. “So it wasn’t that challenging to find you.” Adeline said, exerting force to her heel, bending me lower. I catch a crack of glimpse behind her shoe. Her blood red lips curl into a smile. A calculative evil smile. And I can’t suppress the shudder running through my spine. The groundkeeper has settled himself in the passenger seat at the front.

“Now.” We arrived at her house within the hour. The night air was cold, but the atmosphere around the house was heated with something else. Before I knocked, a sudden pulse of power leaked from inside. It was not glaring, but it was strong enough that every wolf in my team straightened immediately. I opened the door without waiting. Adeline stood in the middle of the room. A wolf spirit roared beside her, its form unstable and surging. She placed her hand on its neck and whispered something low and direct. The spirit calmed, inch by inch.

When she raised her head, Adeline was completely stunned by the scene in front of him. It took a long time for her to react. She slowly lowered her head and saw a skull looking at her in the moonlight. She was so scared that she took a few steps back. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you. Please don't blame me!" Adeline put his palms together and said in fear towards the white bone in front of him. Suddenly, a gust of cold wind blew past, and Adeline couldn't help but shiver. He kept chanting, and his face was extremely pale.

For now, that was enough. I was halfway through the second chapter of the book, though I couldn’t focus on the words. My headache throbbed relentlessly, and the heaviness in my body refused to ease up. Still, the story was my only escape, so I clung to it, hoping it would drown out the exhaustion and the bitter memories of last night. Just as I turned the page, a sharp sound jolted me—the door creaked open. My body stiffened as my eyes darted to the entrance. Adrien walked in, his presence consuming the room in an instant.
