"We... don't have... such thing," Adeline replied in a hoarse voice, gritting her teeth.

She opened her eyes and held her chest, desperately gasping for air while looking at him in total confusion. Marky stood in front of her, his entire face flushed red, his palms trembling, and his eyes staring at her with a mixture of anger, shock, and intense disbelief.
