The first set of people to come in are the Construction company ambassadors and closely behind are the Officials of the hospital. A certain man comes in last. As he walks in, the camera flashes go crazy. Chara whispers into her earphones so all her men will hear her clearly. “I hope you all are on standby. Be watchful and keep your eyes peeled.” As she completes her sentence, her eyes come to rest on him. Being professional and all, she simply keeps her eyes straight and emotionless but on the inside, she’s chaotic. Mason Campbell stares at her with steely eyes. He stares at her like that till its time for him to take the podium.

“Hear what?” The sound intensified, stabbing through my head. “The noise, it’s… loud…” My knees buckled. “Too loud.” Blood trickled warm down my neck. “Charlotte!” Jeffrey caught me before I hit the ground. “Healer! Now!” Footsteps scrambled. The world blurred. A healer knelt beside me, eyes widening at the sight of the blood. “Luna—be still. Deep breaths.” “I can hear something,” I whispered, trembling. “Something sharp. Like screaming metal.”

She tried to not talk about the watch but the matter at hand "Are you playing deaf, can't you hear the knocks on the door." "I can't, I can only hear your voice....how much did you sell my watch." A gasp left Charvie's lips, as she felt his rough hand on her bare thigh, making her realize the hem of her robe had shifted a lot, feeling his palm going further "I need answers."

I shoved him hard and bolted for the window. "No!" His cry cracked, raw and terrified. But I'd already decided. I'd rather die than go back. And I jumped. The wind roared in my ears. Behind me, Adriano's scream ripped through the air—but it didn't matter anymore. Instead of the ground, I hit something soft. When I opened my eyes, a rescue air cushion stretched out beneath me. I was unharmed. Lucas ran up and grabbed me, pulling me into his arms. "Charlotte! Are you okay? You almost scared me to death!"

I look down trying to make sense of things, then I saw a flash from the corner of my eye and look up, there’s nothing. Movement from the distance holds my attention and I watch as a group of people I’ve never seen before run towards me {{ hello, uhm I mean no harm, can you tell me where I am }} they get closer to me running at full speed and I lean back on my hands and pull myself backwards, are they gonna hurt me? Capture me? No this is a dream, I just need to wake up, wake up Jewel, wake up!

“How writers hear their characters talking. You’d sound crazy in any other context saying you hear voices, but it makes perfect sense.” She laughs again. “Oh, I know I sound crazy like ninety-nine percent of the time. But, hey, it pays the bills.” Her phone vibrates as a text comes through. Charles comes up on the screen, along with a photo of him holding the first book in Chloe’s series. She smiles when she reaches for the phone and opens up the text. He sent her a voice message and she presses play. “How many fight scenes are you giving me? I think I need more hand-to-hand combat with knives.”

As HE stops, smiles in a twisted way, and reads the name. “Pauleen Dell.” Giggling, HE then looks at Pauleen with those taunting eyes of HIS and HIS teasing tone that goes like this. “By the way, and just to make everything clear. All four of you know that I am reading the character of the spice rather than yours in the last loop of the seventh of this world, right, Pauleen?”

Jamie added with excuse, waving her right hand dismissively. Gio who was sitting across from us, and was sitting beside Jamie; rolled his eyes at her reply.
