“That’s how you survived. The Moonrose. Tell me—what does it actually do?” He gave a dry chuckle, pride bleeding through his ancient voice. “The roses come in pairs. I have the white one. Kiran has the black—far more powerful, but dangerous. Like soulmates, these roses are bound. Mine has kept me alive. More than that—I am the rose now. I don’t just use its power. I am its vessel.” Without another word, I unsheathed my blade and sliced my palm. Blood welled and dripped into the ceremonial bowl. Rhaegos, resigned, did the same. Our blood swirled together—ancient, powerful, defiant.

"Different. She's not phoenix or lightning—she's something else. Something quieter." "Balance," Aria said from the doorway, having arrived to witness the birth. "Phoenix, storm, and now... peace, perhaps. Harmony. The thing that binds opposing forces." Rose grew like she was born—quietly, peacefully, but with a presence that filled every room. She rarely cried, seemed to understand everything said around her, and had a way of calming chaos just by existing. When Lyra's flames raged out of control during a tantrum, Rose's touch would gentle them to candlelight. When Cassian's lightning threatened to short-circuit during nightmares, Rose's presence would ground him.

" Let's just fix your wife." I said with a sigh as I powered up my Rosepast. My eyes turned dark red as I held my hands in prayer to my lips " Rosepast." I whispered into my hand, the skin under my collarbone moves apart as a red glass rose glowing purple appears. I lifted my forefingers and middle fingers to create a triangle. The middle petals of the rose start to rotate as the triangle lights up in a purple flame. " Let the past be seen." The middle petals of my Rosepast stop rotating as the outer petals slowly start expanding.

Darius frowned. “What started?” Rose looked at him. “The fire.” A beat. What do you intend to do Rose?” “I'm going to unify Heaven and Hell! I'm going to create permanent peace between demons and angels.” “It won't-” “It will work, don't worry uncle! James soon realized that the Defying Heavens Art was slightly different from the Sacrilegious Ascension. Cultivators must first create microcosms that act as energy reservoirs within their bodies. Then, they would need to consistently absorb and store the energies of heaven and earth inside the microcosms. Once the cultivator unleashed the Defying Heavens Art, those tremendous amounts of energy stored within the microcosms would be released to their surroundings.

The sight would be fitting for the word apocalypse. “What is this?” Rose’s voice had a hint of fear in it. Roosevelt took a quick glance around and a deep breath. “This is just simply one of the days during the Scarlett War.” Rose took a look around once more at the chaos. ‘Simply’ was one of those days. Streams of fire and fireballs, icicles, bolts of lightning and blasts of pure energy were flying out the circles.
