Hecate Crossroads Novels & Stories

"I'll always pull through for you bro, we'll find her. Hana travelled to New York to settle there temporarily with Lia and Sara. She refuses to give me their address but we can always go to NY to find your woman" Hearing my best friend say all this gives me a ray of hope to man up and find the woman my heart yearns for. I drink the rest of the night away and pass out from exhaustion. I wake up the next morning in a room that isn't mine and I immediately recognise my surroundings from the curtains in Abe's private room in the club.

And the other dark and broken. She did not have a rose in hand like the rest, She had sage surrounding lavenders . The sage he grew with her, and the lavender whose scent he loved. But those flowers did no longer give her happiness, Every part of her day reminded her of him. She wanted him to get up, to get back to her. But he did not. He was gone forever. "Rose" she turned around as she heard her mother voice, "Lord Edmund is here to pay his respect, go greet him for once" She shook her head. "Rose, for me" Rose hesitate but her mother grabbed her hand slowly and they walked into the castles towards the halls.

I plucked it off the shelf and popped myself back over to everyone. The book said that Hecate was the goddess most associated with magic. Through her, the origin Power Keeps were derived. This magic was bestowed upon various species with her blessing. She bestowed a separate Keep to Selene the Moon Goddess for her to bestow gifts upon her creations. Hecate was also the keeper of portal ways between the realms. I closed the book, holding it to my chest as I paced around the room. I was trying my best to dissect my thoughts and put them into linear fashion, but it was difficult right now. Too many thoughts. Too much information.

Just another thing pointing to all this really being my destiny. "Lastly, I am a descendant of the Goddess Hecate. Goddess of magic, witchcraft, rituals, ghosts, doorways and creatures of night, like hellhounds. I mostly work with rituals and magic though, but I can engage in some of the other things if I need to." she finishes. "Wow, okay. You guys really are a unique bunch." I comment, feeling a bit overwhelmed. "Head feel like its going to explode yet?" she giggles, making me roll my eyes playfully.

She nods and fades out of existence, Hecate remains for a moment, “You also have my blessing, for returning my sister to the fold. You may call on me for a boon, when you feel the time is right. But I will not return those who are dead, and I cannot change the way people think or feel. There are other rules, but we’ll cover them at the time. Those are the basic ones.” Celine bows her head, and Hecate turns to Greyson, “Now then, you.” Greyson looks at her, suddenly frightened,

she explained. “Still confused here,” Hades admitted. We were on the same page. She sighed, sitting up a little. “I think the name Ava is a combination of my two names, Autumn and Valentia, but I don’t know who gave me those names. I think my full name is Autumn Valentia Cross, but I go by Ava Hunt.” None of us had expected that response, and it had me even more curious about her past. “See? You think I’m insane.”

The only thing on Summers Hartley’s mind was revenge. Being a half-breed, she was born extremely weak and completely incapable of protecting herself or anyone, and that cost her. Her family was slaughtered, and her pack was reduced to ashes. As the Alpha heir to Silverguard pack, she swore to destroy the monsters responsible: the Bloodmoon pack. When the perfect chance for revenge arrives, she hides behind a new identity as the dying Alpha’s personal healer and enters the Bloodmoon pack. Every day she heals the pack, she has promised to destroy. Sworn to pay back the same hand, her mission is simple: poison the Alpha who murdered her people and, together with her uncle, destroy eve

Beyond the grave and funeral pyre lay a land of shadow and eternal gloom, the Underworld. Dead souls taken by the messenger of the gods, Hermes, were brought down through gloomy caverns and long winding underground paths until they came to the five rivers. Charon, the ferryman, waited across the black shore of Styx by the Gates of Hades. The three-headed hound, Cerberus, who had an appetite for live flesh, would attack anyone but spirits. There lived the dead - heroes and cowards, shepherds, priests, and minstrels. They wandered back and forth aimlessly, waiting for their turn to be ferried across.

Mutters erupt throughout the crowd upon hearing her statement and she stands tall waiting for the downpour of questions. “Are you certain he can take down the alpha?” A man in the crowd asks with a stoic expression. “He is the King of the underworld for a reason, Sampson,” Hecate says robing a cloak of seriousness. “How will he take on the Tribrid and his hybrid mate?” A woman asks with doubt prominent on her features. “In case you’ve forgotten Angeline, we are talking about an immortal being who is in charge of dead souls from all two realms, the supernatural and the human realm. I’m sure he is more than capable,” Hecate says stressing on his characteristics.

"It's because I was granted immortality which allows me to visit earth, and I make sure keep myself updated. Oh, and those who were given immortality can either stay at Elysium or roam the world freely." I nodded along, trying to look as if I understood what he talked about. "One more thing Will, what is Elysium." He stopped walking to pat my head. "It keeps slipping my mind that you are a mortal. So listen carefully cute psychopath." "There are five fields which make up the Underworld like the slices of a pizza. The river Phlegethon leads to Tartarus, where people receive punishment for their sins." He held up a finger in count. "The second is the Asphodel Meadows, a place for indifferent s
