We reach the room, and he motions for me to enter. “You sir, may stay here.”

He smirks, “Hecate.” She turns to Ash and Kai on the sofa and holds out her hand, “Pleased to meet you properly, I’m Hecate. Goddess of the underworlds, and the crossroads that lead the way to all afterlives. And a few other things, I have a side gig as the Witches’ Goddess too.” Kai and Ash shake her hand and bow their heads, it felt appropriate. She smiles at them. “Yes, I like you. Inscribed across his biceps was a black shield bearing the image of an ivory two-headed eagle hovering over five yellow circles that are in the shape of an inverted V.
