“Thanks. So what do we have here?” Bryan asked his partner, who pointed at one of the eight frames on the laptop screen, which was relaying the live feeds of hidden cameras that were set up in strategic places around the harbor. Looking at the screen, he saw three Latinos unloading some crates from a speed boat at the pier. From where the boat was, there was an open space about half the size of a football field, which was surrounded by shipping containers that were stacked on one another. Looking closer, he saw that each of the men had viper tattoos on different parts of their body.

a voice sounded from the door, and everyone turned their attention to it. "Hezell, why would Cleopatra let you out of the Council?" Nebra frowned. "Hezell? This is the infamous Hezell who laid waste to Blackwood Pack? He looks so innocent," Hunter gasped in disbelief. Hezell turned to them and smiled a little. "Hunter Caldwell. Knight Sterling. Nice to meet you two." "And it's also true he has information about people. Now that I think of it, that's the same thing Hazel does. Your names also sound familiar. Could it be…" Knight deduced, his eyes flickering between the two.

"Hah!" Hearing how skeptical Horey was, Huub snatched Helen's phone right then and snapped coolly, "Listen closely! I am Huub Droitner, heir to Droitner Inc.! That so-called Bloodcrane Spiritbloom?! I have it too! And I'm now demanding that you free your hostage!"

Hunter said as sparks glinted in their eyes. Hunter saw as three of the guys walked in the same direction toward the tall brown-haired guy. "It's up to you how many challenges you want to accept or reject." Hunter continued, watching three fit and strong trainees challenging the brown-haired guy who accepted the challenge. A circle was made and the sparring started between two girls. Hunter watched with the rest of the trainees as he kept explaining their mistakes and good points for the others to learn. The brown-haired guy named Kevin stepped into the circle as his first opponent approached him. They sparred and the guy was down rather quickly as Kevin faced the other challenger telling hi

"Thank you." I winked at him and turned back to the door. ** "Now that we're all here." Taryk shot me a side glance. I shrugged my shoulders. He rolled his eyes. "Hellion, you have the floor." He sat down and waved Hellion to the end of the table. "I've called you all together today," Hellion began, a broad smile on his face. None of us were in the playing mood. Our faces showed it. He sighed. "Fine. Straight into the doom and gloom then. I'm a Prime. I'm the Prime of Death. I rule over what could most easily be understood as a ‘Hell world.' I know, I know. Hate the game, not the player."

He said and Amelia smiled bitterly “This entire forest will be your home and hidden from the rest of the world. When your offspring become seven years of age bring them to my temple to receive my blessings.” Lariempi added before fading away like he never appeared. I was still met with silence. “Jericho, trust me… I know how this sounds. I really do. A Hunter and a Vampire, I know… But I'm all in, I'm invested in this now. I need to save him. If I can find out who ordered the hit, I could try and convince them to withdraw it. If I can’t, then the contract will be reassigned and it will be war. I will kill anyone who tries to come for him.” I said.

After that, a different kind of satisfaction came across me. I enjoyed hunting these human hunters, thus, killing 10 werewolves and being the youngest and best werewolf hunter. Rendall killed 8 werewolves which are also not that bad, Quinn is setting poisonous traps and putting some on the bows granting her 4 kills. We make a great team. “Let’s go, Raffi.” I turned and saw Rendall brushing his mid-length hair using his fingers. “Are you going on a date?” I asked him as I scanned his clothes.

My eyes snapped open. The road was empty. My car was gone. The truck kept moving, steadily.. My breath came rough and shallow. My hands trembled against the wheel. “What the hell is happening…?” Then suddenly, “HELLO.” A voice. Neither coming from outside nor inside. A cold, mechanical voice seared into my head with the words, visuals displaying: 《SYSTEM INITIALIZED》 You are dead, Kieran. I froze. My blood went ice cold. 《SECOND CHANCE PROTOCOL ACTIVATED》
