Elliot POV The heavy, old leather of the folder scraped against the clean plastic of my over-bed table. Henry Wolfe kept his hand flat on the cover for three long seconds. The gold crest of the Wolfe family, faded and scratched from decades of handling, sat right beneath the harsh glare of the hospital light. "This is not a challenge, Elliot," Henry said, his voice a low, dry rumble.

****** ◈SILVIO KANE'S EMPIRE◈ Two men dragged Henry through a dim hallway and hurled him into a cold concrete cell. He hit the ground hard, air rushing from his lungs. The bars clanged shut behind him, locked with a heavy padlock before the men walked away. Henry lifted his gaze and saw the same boy who had lured him away during the Halloween event. The boy stood quietly at the entrance, his face soft and angelic, so gentle that anyone would believe he could do no harm. His beauty was almost disarming, yet Henry sensed a threat beneath the innocence.

Kosslyn, who was very caring and kind-hearted, specially put some toys for him inside the room. At the head of Henry’s bed, there was a round cushion with the pattern of Captain America’s shield. And on the table, there were several models of Marvel characters. Henry was holding an Iron Man model in his hands. He was so fond of it that he couldn’t tear himself away from it. At this moment, he was smiling happily, looking totally different from what he was when he had just been saved from the river. “Uncle, are you Aunt Estelle’s boyfriend? You are so handsome!” he said politely.

A mild, raspy yet feminine voice could be heard as soon as Riel lost consciousness, but it was quickly drowned out by the sound of fusion. ……. Later that day, Henry returned to the shop. He's already made it a point to spend most of his time here. Iris was bothered by it, but she didn't despise the young man who hadn't seen the true colours of the world. Iris had no idea she'd be glad to see the son of the man who had destroyed her family when he arrived to help her in the shop. Such was the nuance of human emotions. Henry had developed a habit of reading novels, particularly fantasy stories.

It looked impossible to find what she was looking for. "What are you doing here this late?" the voice that came behind Zoe scared her and she turned immediately to see Henry not standing far from her. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" "I wish I could." Zoe breathed out through her mouth. "I am looking for a book titled..." " ‘How to become a better mistress?’ I know just where you find that." "There is a book titled that?" Henry nodded. "I recommended it to every of my mistresses."

Henry cleared his throat, humming as a sign that what Tania heard was not wrong. "Yeah, no idea at all," continued Henry who looked down curiously at the book, "Ayah? Is that book a good one to read? " "I have one at home," you can try to read it later, Tania almost said. "Just so you know, Andrea Hirata's works are all cool, and-" before the chatter was over, Henry had disappeared from Tania's side. The woman gaped in confusion, looking here and there for her new friend who suddenly vanished into thin air.

"I suppose my memory isn't so clear. I was newly made back then. I just remember you chuckling while reading a book written by hand." That was strange. Henry was too young to have the problems of fading memory which plagued older vampires. Though I could not imagine why he would lie to me. Oh, well. His change had been a difficult one. Perhaps he had blocked it out. Or he had avoided thinking about it for so long that the memories faded on their own. "Do you think we kept those handwritten books?" I asked. Henry looked at the shelves. "No, personal journals aren't kept in the library. I suppose they might be in storage somewhere. Do you want me to have someone look for them?"

I wasn't asking questions, Harry wasn't saying anything about his action, Lena was so quiet I almost forgot she was here and Henry's eyes slightly squinting playfully clearly showed that he was amused. There was silence in the room and it lasted for some seconds until Lena decided to say something. "Did you find the book?" She asked Henry but I caught her stealing glances at Harry and I. Henry showed her a big book with a blue hard cover. It was a text book "Yeah, I found it" Lena smiled at him. "I think we should just leave for the cafe so this lovebirds can do whatever...." "Henry" Harry called warningly without looking at him.

She still had moments when she would wonder what she did to deserve someone like Henry. "Just some old history book I borrowed from Richard's library. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about dragons before, you know… and I still can't believe how big that place is! Richard has an impressive collection of books, and most of them are about supernatural topics. One would need a lifetime to go through all of them." Henry put the firewood in the basket next to the fireplace and moved to sit behind Elizabeth. She leaned on him and relished in the feeling of his strong arms wrapped around her.

Henry cared less about the house because obviously, his father was rich enough to get him another one. She entered the apartment and tried locating Henry's room. The interior of the house was uttermost beautiful. Entering into his room, Eleanor wasn't surprised by the nature of rhe room. There were clothes littered every where, also the bed covers weren't well laid, and the books were scattered across the floor, a typical boy's room indeed. I removed the bracelet from my bag and placed it back on the table opposite his bed. The table had series of books and mostly were literature books. I was in disbelief that Henry could actually have a thing for literature.
