Nigerian Authors Romane & Geschichten

I look forward to being a well known writer like, Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, the late legend; Chinua Achebe, Nnedi Okorafor, Wole Soyinka, Colleen Hoover, Ted dekker, Sidney sheldon, Dean Koontz and so many others. I don't think I have ever seen anyone who reads wild like I do. My love for books is out of this world, I just purely love good books, like really really good books with awesome plots. I can't be spotted anywhere without holding a novel. I was about to read one, 'Home coming' by Yaa Gyasi.

“Oh, thank you. You don't have to worry about picking me up. I'm sleeping over and my Dad knows." He gave me a polite nod, entered the car and drove off. THE NWACHUKWU'S MANSION. I have been here a lot of times but I still get stunned by this magnificent mansion. I know it's a mansion and I shouldn't expect anything less but this particular mansion is exquisite. Mr Nwachukwu. Michelle's Dad is a very affluent businessman. Owning about 60 oil companies just here in Nigeria. One would expect the wealth of Michelle's family to get into her head but Michelle is quite humble.

"How many languages do you speak Doctor Mo?" A petite brunette in heavy lens glasses asked her.

ADONIS looked from me to Cy. "You're a chef?" Mr ADONIS asked. What? "What? No, I don't mean it like that. I'm a writer," I smiled at them. I'm sorry, but how dumb could he be to think I was a chef because I said "whip". "Where are you from?" Cy asked. "Nigeria," I smiled proudly. Mama Africa y'all! "If I may, I have a question," I raised my hand. It reminded me of secondary school, where you'd have to raise your hand to ask any questions.

Then there is African great writer, Chinua Achebe who has provided the platform for other great African writers to showcase their talent and skill in writing. Then, there is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for her modern voice filled with promises and the fact that she is a reincarnation of Chinua Achebe and often described as his granddaughter. And there is also another great writer who is a French citizen. His name is Albert Camus and I deeply appreciate him for his stories about life that has touched

I'd just picked him up from his school and we were on our way to the banana Island. It was a community on its own but was only affordable for the rich and elite people in Nigeria. Mr Ben had told me years ago, that even a millionaire could hardly afford an apartment there yearly, much less a whole building. You'd expect me to write more about my culture, my people. I recently told a friend to read my work on Wattpad and he said he'd try. Eventually he called me and said he finished my Book Insomnia and my edited version of After dark. He told me he enjoyed it but he expected something more about Nigeria and Our lifestyles. There was something he said that hit home. He said and I quote: I don't really blame you sha. You're just whitewashed. Sometimes I wish Nigerians would embrace their heritage and stop acting like oyibo.
