– Doctor Olivia showed gratitude. Steve only nodded his head without uttering a word, as he exit the place not before eyeing the unconscious figure. On the way to his home, his phone rang again; annoyed he just put the mobile in flight mode and slide it on his pocket as he heard, “I knew it, you would be here!” Caleb screamed as he burst through the entry of the Hope’s Horizon Foundation, spotting Steve in the way. He had been trying to reach him for days but he had consistently avoided all attempts at contact.

He shrugs, "Looks like someone doesn't want this union to happen more than you." I mind link Steve and get no reply, "Steve's not answering me, you think he's out of the territory?" Chris shrugs, "knowing Steve, if he has a guys scent, he won't let up till he catches him, so it's possible, I swear the guy is more bloodhound than wolf." I chuckle, "true, let's get back, clean up and see if anything else is destroyed, or just my future." After I shower and put on clean sweatpants, I return to my office to find my Beta sitting there, I sit and the packhouse landline phone rings, I pick it up, "Crescent Moon, Alpha Braddock speaking."

I excused myself from the group I was with and made my way over to her. "Hey, Liv," I said, giving her a one sided hug that she didn't return. Her eyes were screaming at me, as I held onto her arm. "How's it going?" She smiled, tightly. "Not bad," she said. Lacrosse guy seemed confused at the intrusion, “Who is he?” He asked Olivia. “My step-brother.” “Oh…nice to meet you man,” He stretched his hand at me with a smile but I didn't accept either, frowning at the hand and at his face.

And who he came back without. “Drake!” a voice rang out a little too cheerfully. Steve. Leaning against the edge of a desk, arms folded, grin wide,like they were old pals catching up after lunch. “There you are, man,” Steve said smoothly, walking up beside him like they were tight. “Was starting to think you got lost or something.” He gave him a light jab in the ribs, playful on the outside, but territorial underneath.

We stood in front of Steve now, awkward and freshly scrubbed, like kids caught sneaking out past curfew. “Uhmm…” Leon scratched the back of his head, cheeks faintly pink. “T-thank you…” Steve raised an eyebrow, leaning against the desk with his arms crossed. He was dressed now—simple black tee, jeans, looking every bit the composed dominant who’d orchestrated the whole thing. “For what?” Leon shifted his weight. “Not taking advantage of my brother?” Steve’s lips twitched. “And?” Leon exhaled sharply. “And… for pulling me out of my head. For giving me a taste of what I’ve always wanted.”

Steve announced as he showed the screen of his phone to Charles. Charles's expression was dark as he yelled in anger. “Why are you doing this? We trusted you!” He could not believe that Steve would betray them and would take his identity. After all, he’s his twin brother and he did nothing wrong with him. "Why? Because I want revenge. I want you to suffer as much as I did and I will enjoy everything you have while you are suffering." Steve sneered at him. “Revenge? Are you stupid? You’re taking revenge against your own brother who did nothing wrong to you? You’re so evil!”

Steve said and roughing his hair angrily. "I don't wanna see you guys ever again, you two are incompetent," Steve said and throw the bottle of vodka at them, and the bottle hit Bryan who is just coming inside head and he winced in pain. "Goodness! Bryan, you didn't tell me you're coming!" Steve said and rushed to his side. "Are you planning to kill me?" Bryan asked and hold his forehead in pain. "I'm very sorry, I need to treat your wound right now!" Steve said and placed his hand on Bryan's forehead.

Steve said, supporting her, while Megan just stared at him, not knowing what to say. “I need some water.” Steve said as he got up and went to grab a bottle of water from the kitchen. He settled back in the chair, dropping the bottle of water and cup on the stool beside his chair. He poured the water into the cup and began to gulp it down. Just as he was still gulping his water down, Veronica suddenly asked another question. “But does your Alpha have a son though? Any kids that you guys are friends with?” She asked.

“How’s your bride?” “I’m sure she’s fine,” Lucian answered dismissively. “You’re sure?” Steve scoffed. “I know you don’t care about her, but at least pretend.” Lucian ignored the jab. “Who did it?” “Your two-faced stepbrother,” Steve replied flatly. “I sent something to your email,” Lucian said, a slow smirk forming. “Use it well.” “You’re too generous, Mr. Hilton,” Steve said sarcastically. “Looks like I won’t be sleeping tonight.”
