She placed the books she had and decided to pick up a book titled Guide To Demons and another romance novel to read for the night. On her way down, she ran into Eriel. “Guide to demons?” Eriel chuckled. Delilah noticed how tall he was, as usual, and wondered if other supernatural species had that kind of height too. Was it just humans who were ridiculously small?

"When I was in your condition, my mother gave me a book that kept me positive until the very end. I want you to have it," she said gently. "I want you to stay positive and confident in yourself and in God." She paused before asking softly, "Are you a believer, my dear?" Adeline hesitated then shook her head. Delilah’s smile didn’t waver. “Religion doesn’t matter,” she said kindly. “How about this? Put your faith in a grand power, a force beyond our understanding. Trust in that power and He shall protect you and your child.”
