Kimber's Pov I laid on my bed, I'll admit I can't stop thinking about my conversation with Delilah. She might look young but she's smart at what she does, not to talk of the fact that she reminds me of some one I know. Some one I have met, most especially, she is some one so dear to me.

He ran his fingers through his hair and unbuttoned the first two buttons of his white polo shirt. “Lights off or lights on? Your choice.” I averted my gaze. Hubert and I had been together for a while, but we hadn’t done this yet. I’d only read about these scenarios in books and seen them on TV. How would I know which is better? “Okay, since you don’t want to speak, I’ll do it my way. Lights off.” He moved to the light switch and turned off the lights. There was still some light coming from the lampshade.

“Lena, listen to me. Focus. I need you to stay with me. Let me pull him out.” I swallowed, nodding weakly, my throat dry as sandpaper. The weight of Cassian’s presence pressed against me, like his hands were around my throat, squeezing tight. His laugh echoed in my mind, soft and mocking, like a whisper in the dark. You think they can save you? You belong to me now. “Let’s begin,” Delphine’s voice was steady, but I could hear the edge of fear beneath it. She stepped forward, positioning herself at the foot of the bed, where a circle of candles had been placed around us.

Let me give it more time. Once I get to my room I run to where my things are. I have not finished unpacking yet. I am still hoping something would happen and I will be out of here before I know it. I managed to bring Delilah’s journals with me. I have read them enough times to have them memorized, but maybe I missed something. How comes in their whole six year relationship, there is no mention of a child. It seems like a very huge thing to pass over, especially someone who mentions her outfits in the journal.

The corridors were quiet save for the soft thudding of my footsteps echoing off the walls. I stopped when I reached the door to Dorm 314. No light shone under the door, and it was quiet inside. I pressed my ear to the door and listened closely for a few minutes, then turned and continued down the corridor. The next night, I deliberately delayed my rounds by an hour. I heard footsteps above me when I arrived at the third-floor landing. Turning off my torch, I ducked into the shadows. I spotted a familiar figure coming down the stairs. It was Reuben. He was straightening his shirt collar and wore a satisfied expression.

When he was done, he spoke on the Betas and spent another fifteen minutes talking on Deltas. By the time he reached subtopic ‘Omega’, the class was almost entirely over. He then went on to talk on a wolf which they all possessed before the class came to an end. “What is it like being the pup of an Alpha?” Chloe asked as she and Harold walked out of the classroom.

Li-lah stared at her phone for a very long time. She'd promise herself not to involve anyo else in her plans and be was the last person she wanted to get involved in this but she had vowed to do anything to get her revenge and she was going to stick to her guns no matter what, she dialled up the number and waited. 'Hello?' 'Hello-' she paused again, weighing up her options. This wasn't going to be easy. "Hello? This is Delilah Sanchez."

She walked away after passing her a sweet smile. Being left alone, she took a deep breath, inhaling the woody scent of his study room. The room was neat, to the last shelf. The cover of the Book was also clean, but still, Delilah knew that he hadn't even touched it for a long while. Or else, why would this precious Book be found on the last shelf? However, she was glad that the inner side of his study room wasn't abandoned like castles shown in the movies. She moved ahead and sat on a couch placed by the sliding doors that led to the yard outside.
