There was nothing for me there. I would be stuck waiting around for someone I didn’t know would find me and be miserable at the same time. I chose to wait until my engagement party to go back to New York. My marriage was what I needed to focus on. The fact that he was in love with Serena Ricci was a plus for me. The more distracted he was, the easier it would be to destroy him. He wouldn’t see me coming as a threat from miles away. In my room, I scrolled through the information I had on the DeLuca family. They came from generations of a mafia family taught to kill and annihilate from a young age. They all became made men before they turned thirteen.

" Delilah nodded her head as her eyes fell on his dark eyes. She slightly came closer as if the beast would listen to her then whispered, "People say that he eats people alive. Every person from my pack who went to the forest never came back. He killed them." Everett stared at her frightened face and muttered, "I see." She looked around and said, "I think he is following me." Then she heard his raspy voice close to her ear, "Why do you think he is so interested in you that he is following you?"

She grabbed her sedative pills and gulped it down her throat with a glass of orangeade. "Mmmha!"She sighed and lay on the bed with her mind still going about everything. Delilah had just joined in as a volunteer and she had been the one to turn her into a wolf but now her only friend was gone. She sighed and picked up the book beside her. Only the leaders have the access to the book of plans but how come it fell into Raven's hand, there is a spy amongst them for sure and she needs it figured out. She dozed off with the book on her chest till the next morning when she began dressing for school.

Silence prevails once more and then… Delilah chuckles from the other end and Carl is confused by the laughter “What’s wrong, what’s funny? He raised one of his eyebrows and asked Delilah in a confused voice “Well, you behave like you are some sort of superhero, but you are not you not even close to one, and you know why?, Well because you are more useless than a de*d snail， And sorry to burst your little bubble but I have your daughter and I kidnapped her under your own nose…”

Did she really do something so evil? “Yeah! Delilah was polluting her mind to the point that the little kid started screaming for help, I have to keep Faith away from Delilah now.” As she finished, she secretly scanned Dallin’s face for a reaction.

I picked it up though, curious about who it could be. “Hello?” I asked, glancing at Adam. “Hello?” A voice trembled. “Is this Alice?” “Yes, this is Alice, who is this?” “My name is Delilah,” she responded, the name familiar. “I’m the maid that used to work at the old mansion.”

“That’s dangerous. But also… powerful.” I hesitated. “He’s not hurting me.” Her gaze snapped to mine, sharp as a blade. “Not yet.” I swallowed hard, fingers curling around my knee. “I want to talk to him. I need to understand what this is.” Delilah closed her eyes, murmuring in a language I didn’t recognize. The flames flickered, casting shadows that stretched like fingers across the floor, then her breath hitched. “He’s here.” The room dropped ten degrees. Delilah’s eyelids fluttered and her voice shifted into a deeper one. “You called me. You summoned me through sweat and breath. You claimed me.”

Her words were detailed, it was like a story, one without misfortunes; a life Delilah wanted to live someday… Sliding off the bed, she reached beneath it, pulling the diary out. It was brown in color, the cover framed with curly lines that made it seem as old as it was. The ink was bold and black and on the very first page it carved just one word, written horizontally and five times the size of the rest. It was a name; Loilitha…a beautiful name; that was if she was pronouncing it right. Delilah wondered who she was and if she got the happily ever after she was chasing…

Delilah is originally from Mississippi and hates when we remind her of it, something I do often. Delilah blesses me with one of the many eye rolls I'm sure I will receive today and with that I head over to my office. I didn't have it in me to read the letter that accompanied the many photos and evidence that will help my overall case last night. After my self-pity bubble bath, I ended up half drunk on my bedroom floor tempted to drunk call Alan.

“I have been waiting patiently for you.” “Well you have to wait, I have prisoners to deal with a new mate, and a baby coming.” I sighed. “But you could have summoned me and we could have spoken about everything already.” “Well this mate of yours, she is a Princess?” he growled. “Are you sure she isnt someone that is pretending to be one?” “She didn’t even know she was on,” I said rolling her eyes. “Her name is Delilah, she is the daughter of Mitchell the royal guard murdered years ago, you know this and I know this is his daughter.”
