High Lord Of Summer Court Novels & Stories

Ryan looks down at Lester's broken body, before frowning back over at us. "Wasn't you locked away, how did you get out?" Max asks Ryan with a frown. "We broke him out and we're talking about the lycan king," I say answering both of their questions. "The what?" Ryan asks as a look of confusion cross face. "The Lycan king, the son of the first lycan," I say. "What's a Lycan?" Ryan asks, still looking confused. I look at him for a moment seeing that he really doesn't know who I'm talking about.

his laugh interrupted my rambling. “Slow down, little one. Lower your expectations.” “Huh?” “I don’t want to ruin your mood, but this isn’t as you may imagine it.” “What do you mean?” “This isn’t all fun and party. Depending on the chosen heir it may result in blood and war. The high world is the most dangerous. Don’t let your guard down. Also, as a High Lord, I must swear an oath of allegiance to the new king. And I'm not sure about that. I hate all his offspring.”

With a nod, he took his seat on the throne next to Queen Zakyra's. He took in a deep breath, as if he was breathing in all the scents and then his...silver, almost translucent eyes snapped to me and he smiled a deadly smile. "Pleasure." His eyes raked over me and darkened. I felt Nik's boiling anger but he masked it very skilfully. Elder Orlando stood up and looked at all the people gathered. "I, Elder Orlando, the Vampire Head of the Supernatural High Council declare The Vampire Annual Royal Summit inaugurated," his gravelly but strong voice echoed in the council room.

He can feel my return to power due to how Gideon seems to be enamored of me, and he plans to align himself with that kind of power. Afterward, I walk to the military department and search for General Birkett. We need to take care of the preparations for the martial combat contest. Warriors from all over the kingdom have started to gather in the castle. It is an opportunity for them to showcase their skills through a competition. Other than the sleep spell that can greatly help their career, there will also be a massive prize money to gain from winning. “Good afternoon, Luna Serra,” General Birkett greets with a slight bow as I enter the war room.

"After you cross that raging river, you'll be surrounded by dense forest. When you go back out there, you will see that there is a lot of space. Nevertheless, once you are there, you can sense the surroundings and recognise that there is a large cabin standing nearby. Note that you can't see it because it is under the spell of magic and it is invisible. It will become clear who is hiding within when you disassemble it, including your mate." Archer turned to face him, but didn't say anything. Augustus had a winning grin on his face, as if he had won the game. He is absolutely ignorant that Augustus has devised a plot to assassinate him after the mark between Judy and Augustus has vanished com

Winter was a bit surprised by Hector's sudden request. Even though she missed Raphael’s presence around her, she was happy that she had not had to face his cold face and harsh words. However, Hector wanted her to go to the summer palace and serve Raphael. “My Lord, Is this an order of His Majesty?” Winter questioned. “Of course, it is the King's order. Now, let's not waste time anymore. His Majesty has a lot of things to handle,” Hector pronounced. Winter didn’t notice the mischievous grin across Hector's lips.

He held it out so I could read it. ‘The crown of the North belongs to the bloodline, but the boy belongs to us. Bring the heir to the Obsidian Spire before the next new moon, or watch the human world burn for his existence.’ A sick, heavy weight dropped into my stomach. They didn't just want the Northern throne — they knew about Leo. They knew about his early awakening, his raw power, and they'd been watching us the entire time we were hiding in the human world. The Council we fought in the courtyard, Vance, Malakor — none of them were the masterminds. They were just pawns, clearing the board for something older and far more dangerous.

Lord Voldemort thundered in his beastly form as he grabbed hold of Dorian neck and began draining the life outta from him. Damon tried standing up on his feets but was too weak to even lift up a finger, all he could do was watch how the beast squeezed the life out of Dorian. "No, I'm going to kill you first." They heard a voice boomed behind them as they swiftly turn to meet a shocking scene. Even the uncionscious Dorian had to widened his eyes in awe. There above them, levitating in the air was Summer as her eyes were pure black, her hands emitted white light while her body emitted fire.

I had become comfortable with the High Lord and his knights, as well as the kitchen staff (especially the head chef) and some of the servants in the Fortress. I also got to learn that the lady knight, who accepted Morris’s challenge was a Millennium Glory, one of the five Glories of their army. Her name was Scarlet Dorand, wife of Sir Lakovan, and apparently the mother of Sir Dallas. At Breakfast, the three of us would eat with the High Lord in his dining room. But at lunch and dinner, we would always have a feast with his army at their dining hall. It was rowdy and loud. You would sometimes see food flying over your head and curses swimming in the air, which would make the High Lord scream

Refrot would go on to challenge alectre heir of herandra, queen of the summer court. Herandra of course objected to such an arrangement, sensing a plot by refrot, but noble and valiant alectre would not back down from a duel, perhaps he had the mentality that good will always triumph over evil we will never know, for alectre fell in duel on the isle of the departed souls, making detok heir to both the thrones of summer and winter, the first fey to unite both courts in recorded history. Herandra raved and cried to the light gods for aid, seeing as she was unable to act as he had won the duel far and square, but the decree came straight from illumino telling her to ‘hold fast for the son of li
