High Lord Of Summer Court 소설 & 이야기

“Now, we shall witness the union of Aiden and Lady Chloe, a bond that will strengthen our kingdom.” The high elder's voice echoed through the Grand Hall, carrying with it the weight of centuries-old traditions and the promise of a new era. I stood tall, feeling the cool weight of the Crown of Lycanthra on my head. The elders, the Alphas, and the distinguished guests all watched me with a mixture of respect and curiosity. This was my moment, the culmination of years of meticulous planning and relentless ambition. As the applause subsided, the high elder raised his hand for silence. "Now, we shall witness the union of Aiden and Lady Chloe, a bond that will strengthen our kingdom."

They all chuckled, and Cedric said, "Well, let's get the introductions done first. I, of course, am Cedric of the Spring Court." A man with bright blond hair and sun kissed skin stood, "I am Bran, of the Day Court." Then a man with long raven black hair and a blue streak framing his face said, "I am Katsumi, of the Night Court." A woman with platinum blonde hair and tan complexion stood, "I am Aria, of the Summer Court." The man with red hair said, "I am Magus, of the Autumn Court." The woman with the long white hair introduced herself, "I am Adelina, of the Winter Court." Why would we want to ally with you? You are meaningless to us."

"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Summer looked at Hilda and smirked. Could she really keep avoiding him forever? She might as well put on a show. She winked at her maid, though doubts churned inside her. "Just be careful, please," Hilda replied, her voice filled with genuine concern. "He is the ruler of the Lycans." "I know what's happening," Summer said, her confidence wavering slightly. "But I won't let fear make my choices. If he wants a test of will, I'll be ready."

The Commander's voice was calm and triumphant. A sinister shadow materialized behind him, and the two soldiers flanking Caleb were sent hurtling into the crowd of onlookers. The leader staggered aside, revealing my brother with unsettling clarity. A dark, swirling aura emanated from Caleb's figure, his eyes ignited in a fierce crimson glow at the center of intricate black lines spreading across his skin, tracing down his face and neck. Waves of raw power surged from him, palpable in the air, as he took a deliberate step closer to me. He lunged forward with clawed hands towards the commander just before falling to the ground, revealing the man that was standing behind him, a sword hilt held t

"With this crown, as a symbol of your position as ruler, not just of wolves but of humans alike, I crown you, Queen Ophelia, Supreme ruler of the realm." Richard lowered the crown onto her head. “Rise, Ophelia, mate of Aaron Stone, Eternal Queen of Wolves, Luna of All, Sovereign of the United Court.” The hall roared with voices, a sound so thunderous it shook the stones. Wolves howled in harmony, witches chanted blessings; humans clapped and cried out her name. Ophelia rose, the crown gleaming, her gown shimmering like starlight. She glanced at Aaron, who bowed his head to her, though his smile betrayed pride and love more than ceremony. The court bowed with him.

“I think it’s an impeachment. But now that you’ve secured Lyra… this might be your best shot to shut them down and move toward coronation.” My blood ran cold. Alec was pushing too far. He was biting more than he could chew. I stood abruptly, anger surging in my chest. “Let’s have that meeting. Now.” I walked out, Eric trailing behind. ~~~~~~~~~~ The hall fell silent immediately I walked in. All the elders stood in formal greeting, but I ignored them. My eyes locked intently on Alec, my supposed cousin. “Who summoned this meeting?” One of the elders stood up, Matteo, one of Alec’s loyalists, “We apologize, Lycan. The urgency left us no time to seek permission.”

"What did you say?" "The elders are trapped inside the High Chamber, my Lord" the scout choked out, clutching his bleeding shoulder. "Lord Hector declared you and Queen Lyra as traitors to the realm. He's executing any loyalist lord who refuses to surrender, and he's preparing to open the main valley gates for the Grand Marshal's fleet at daw

They have been growing more and more over the years, recruiting new members. I have been meaning to call a meeting of the council of Lycan kings, which I was their leader. The council is made up twelve Lycan kings, representing the twelve wolf kingdoms. But with my protection pearl going missing and bringing of Vee into my pack, I have been pretty much occupied. Now Vico is sending his men into my lands, I had to nip this shit in the bud soon or I might have another war with half breeds on my hand. “Maybe they know she is a half breed,” that had to be why they wanted her.

She sat down next to me and sipped her tea slowly. "Have you ever been to any ceremony in BloodHowl Luna Montanne" I loved it when she called me Luna, but I did all I could to hide a smile. "No, I haven't. There haven't been any reason to celebrate since the King died and Damien was crowned, and besides, knowing husband, the King, he doesn't like ceremonies or parties"

“You’ve been away from Fae society for a long, long time. We use politics, find loopholes, and make deals to get what we want. Not violence.” “Maybe you don’t, but I do,” I snarled, lips curled back from my teeth. I grabbed Summerfield’s champagne glass in one hand and crushed it. Pale liquid, glass shards, and blood seeped between my fingers and fell to the marble floor. That wiped the smug look right off of his fucking face. “That’s enough!” Our host, Lord Glade approached. “You will not ruin this year’s High Fae Ball.” Summerfield, Wells, and Rotroot stepped forward to show Lord Glade their allegiance as we faced off.
