روايات وقصص ضمن High Lord Of Summer Court

I felt Athena pressing closer to the surface of my consciousness as we approached. ‘Justice today,’ she growled, her anticipation a hot coal in my chest. ‘Blood for blood.’ The herald's staff struck the floor three times, the sound echoing through the vast chamber beyond. "His Royal Majesty, Alpha King Lukas Volkov, and Her Royal Majesty, Luna Queen Amelia Volkov."

They didn’t even raise questions. Our country, Crest country was a diplomatic one ruled by the government under one president. We lived in the state’s capital, in the richest estate in the city. I studied in Van private academy , the most expensive private academy in the city and I was currently on my tenth grade. Due to our high status, there was absolutely no way I would simply miss the blood test. This was just jumping into a crocodile’s mouth and testing if it would bite you

The palace was alive with anticipation. The grand halls were decorated with golden banners, silks, and torches that danced with flickering light. Tonight was no ordinary night—it was the seventeenth birthday of Lucien, the firstborn son of the great and mighty King Zerach, and the ceremony would mark his official step into adulthood. Nobles, warriors, and emissaries from every corner of the beast kingdom had gathered, eager to witness the young prince, whose birth had long been whispered about in tales of prophecy and destiny.

They all chuckled, and Cedric smiled, "Well, let's get the introductions done first. I, of course, am Cedric of the Spring Court." A man with bright blond hair and sun kissed skin stood, "I am Bran, of the Day Court." Then a man with long raven black hair and a blue streak framing his face said, "I am Katsumi, of the Night Court." A woman with platinum blonde hair and tan complexion stood, "I am Aria, of the Summer Court." The man with red hair said, "I am Magus, of the Autumn Court." The woman with the long white hair introduced herself, "I am Adelina, of the Winter Court." Why would we want to ally with you? You are meaningless to us."

"Summer must have... borrowed these pieces for the photograph. Or hired some costume jewelry." But even as I say it, I know how ridiculous it sounds. The quality is obvious even in a photograph. The way the light catches the gems, the perfect setting, the unmistakable craftsmanship of true royal jewelers. "Actually," Mrs. Carter says thoughtfully, and I can hear the satisfaction creeping into her voice, "I heard through my husband that Luna Summer was recently received at the Southern Court. Something about her new status as Alpha Luxian's mate requiring formal recognition." The words hit like hammer blows. Summer. At the Southern Court. Officially recognized.

In the summer court, on a bright and sunny day, the summer king got the news of the arrival of the Winter King with the queen and the princess. Dillion, took over as the summer king, only a couple of years ago when his father became ill with an unknown disease. Since then, he is bedridden and Dillion tried so many medicinal herbs, but nothing seems to work on his father's mysterious illness. His spy from the winter Court, brought the news of the King and queen's arrival, with their princess.

He ran back towards the West Wing of the castle and the King made sure that his warriors were holding off the army while he got away. He made it back to the throne room and slammed open the doors to see two of his own dead warriors just inside the door and Summer was standing there with a wolf by her side and she had untied Ryker. The King was then joined by several guards and the Trinity witches. He was still after Summer’s essence and he was going to get it. He didn’t care who he had to kill to do it.

THE LEGEND OF THE VIPER PROLOGUE There were so many ways one could celebrate their twenty first birthday but never had she ever thought it would be this way. Dressed in a black beautiful and exquisite robe with the huge vicious viper on the back, she walked slowly and confident down the aisle as she went to her throne. The hall was crowded with her followers, children to the hilt; all wearing their specific colors. Behind her the Oracle followed her. The only sound that was present was that of the drums being played. She finally arrived and stood there.

Somewhere in the Between, or past it, Asha had finally rested after centuries of waiting for the moment she had just made possible. I had come into this palace as a healer. I had become a Luna. I had received a gift that had been waiting centuries to find me. And I was standing on a roof watching my daughters rewrite what was possible in a single full moon night, the light they produced filling the sky above the Veal Kingdom’s capital city, and I was thinking: Nothing in the world is going to touch them. Not while I am breathing. Not while he is standing right beside me. Never. That was the whole of it, entirely and absolutely completely. That was the final answer. That was absolutely everyt

Rain pelts the stained-glass windows of the Great Hall, lightning throwing shadows that stretch like claws across the faces of the Elders. I stand at the center of the room, soaked from my ride here, the wetness clinging to my hair, my clothes, like a second skin of tension. Their voices rise around me, layered, urgent, all tangled with the same undercurrent; war is coming. And they want to crown me King. “Lucien is already the rightful heir,” says Elder Tavros, his voice the consistency of gravel. “The world burns outside these walls. What we need is not prophecy but power.”
