Challenging it with her sword as it managed to block and dodge most of her hits. Using the lessons that her father had given her for many years, she used her weapon to dodge the vampire's attempted attacks and once he had gotten frustrated enough, giving her the advantage, she kicked him in the face as he made one final charge. Violetta held on to his arm to give him warmth. Jaxon quickly looked around, searching for a solution. Then he saw a dead vampire nearby. An idea popped into his head. "This is crazy, but I hope it works." Curious, Violetta asked, "What do you want to do?" Without hesitation, he took out his dagger and swiftly cut off the vampire's head, collecting its blood in his palms. He hurried back to Tyler's side and gently lifted his friend's head. "Tyler, I know this is risky, but it's our only chance," Jaxon said urgently. "I'm going to give you some vampire blood as a medicine. It should neutralize the venom and heal you."

A whimper escaped me, and I brought his arms around me to hold him closer. I wanted to know he could hold me closer. I clenched my eyes shut as I laid kisses onto his bleeding eyes and gripped his head close to me. I held him to my chest and heard as his chest heaved up and down. I found myself wondering for a short moment if vampires were able to have panic attacks. "They were cruel to do that," I told Sol assuredly. Above all else, this was one thing I knew with my entire being. No one should have to experience their loved one dying such a gruesome death.

"He was kind and told me that not all vampires drink human blood." Scott's expression turned thoughtful. "Then I realized that all vampires here in Paranormal High must not take human blood," I continued. "If you were after human blood, you would have drained me dry when I first arrived."
