Chapter 1 Xena Remington What can be a very stupid decision when it comes to your career? Being an HR Manager to one of the most dangerous people in this country. On paper it looks great. Xena Remington, working as a Senior HR under the Lancaster Empire. Till now my job has been very easy, just finding people to hire and keeping everyone in the office happy by managing their complains. On occasions, it has gotten difficult when it comes to being there when your acquaintances are fired but hey, it’s a part of my job.

He fell from the sky in a quivering heap, watching his insides spill out onto the grass with wild eyes which soon became lifeless. My eyes landed on the third wolf, a female with light coloured fur who now stood with her tail in between her legs. She seemed to have more sense than the others, intelligent enough to at least be afraid as she stood in the presence of Thanatos, who licked the blood off his teeth in crazed delight as he stared her down. I knew she had no choice but to attack, she would be killed by the others if she fled, but i could sense that she did not want to be here. It was this fact that awarded her a swift death.

I was quick in studying people and I observed that quickly. “What did you think about her?” Rachel's gaze was set at Kitara. As much as I hated her I won't reveal her dirty secret at a place like this. “Umm, she seems cool.” I replied her with a smile. Rachel would never ask such a question if she knew what that bitch did to me. “Yeah, she sure do.” Rachel gave a sigh of relief. Hilda slowly made for the stage where Alfred was standing she was called out by him. She looked at me with an evil smile. It was definitely a fake one.

Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

Drabek asked. "Because a promise is as good as a deal to a fae, and I never break my word." "So be it then. Now tell them the truth, Alora." Damon said. I nodded; Helga squeezed my hand. I gave her a tight smile, clearing my throat. "My name is Alora Elwood, and I am the daughter of Sorin Elwood. The empress of the realm of dreams." "You have to be shitting me." Kier snarled.

Commented an impressed Royal Beta. "Lily found out that Alfa Re have a child. So, we assumed that he also have a mate and due to privacy and security reasons, it is not disclosed. So, everything fit. Except who is behind all this? Daphne was trailing the source of funding. It take some time but he was able to find out that it was done by Damien Cristopher Kahil." Sound of breaking a table was heard and I glanced only to find Alfa Re enraged. "Continue." He growled out.

Do I have dementia? “Oh dear, you look confused.” She says as she laughs a little, “Come with me, I feel like I should introduce you to some people.” She says and I blindly follow her. Too confused to know what’s going on. “This is Gwen, Harry, Marie, Penelope, Daphne, Kyle, Daryl, Juliette, Sarah, Seb, Ron, Terry and of course Dave.” My eyes widen when I realize what is happening. Oh. My. God.

Alpha Blaze persisted, sounding genuine. I glanced at Lucas then when we both realized something at the same time – silver. “How can you be so sure about it?” Dalton met Alpha Blaze’s gaze from across. “My mate was with the moon goddess when they both disappeared –” “Wait a second, who’s your mate?” “Althea,” he said aloud with pride. We were momentarily shocked. His mate was Althea, the first female warrior of the Moon Goddess. She was known to be fierce but grounded. It didn’t take long for Dalton to nod affirmatively. “Okay, I trust you.”

She knew she had no right to interfere but it clear to anyone who had two eyes that Kate was doing more than correcting the poor boy. “That woman get evil spirit! (That woman is possessed by an evil force)” Hilda said angrily to herself even as she stuffed her clothes into her luggage bag. “Shabi I don day comout. If you like, kill them two. You hear?? Anofia! (I am leaving and if it pleases you after I have left kill the both of them. I hope you can hear me. Idiot)”Hilda hissed even as she dragged her luggage out of the house.

I'm just going to have to assume she was acting for the cameras. Cecily, the former Luna of the Love Pack, and Alpha Malik's mother stood at the same podium that she introduced us on, dressed magnificently for the cameras. Malik looked solemn, as he stood beside her, looking down at his feet. Clearly, he feels bad about sending girls home, despite the nature I know he truly possesses. I can hardly even begin to imagine a number of girls he had sent home after his night escapades with them.
