“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Oh, you do,” he said, stepping closer. “I smell it too. You’re my mate.”
“No,” I said, backing up. “You’re lying. This is a trick.”
“No trick,” he said, his eyes dark with interest. “Fated mates. Funny, huh? The little omega I’ve been messing with all these years.”
“You’re disgusting,” I said, my face hot with anger. “I’d never mate with you. You’re my enemy.”
“Enemy?” he said, laughing. “That’s what makes it fun but the bond doesn’t care about that.”
