Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

I say in my sleepiest voice. My door swings open and my father storms into my room. His dark eyes dart suspiciously around my room, as if he is expecting someone to be there with me. The look of anger on his face is terrifying. “We believe you are in danger,” he says simply. “Your door will be locked, and guards will be placed outside until Cain marks you as his mate.” Without another word he turns and leaves my room, locking me inside.

In love with the enemy

In love with the enemy

His eyes snapped toward her. The atmosphere shifted instantly. Everything changed. Every assumption. Every theory. Every certainty. Because if the note was true— Someone had been searching for Adrian. Not Celine. For years. And that someone had finally found him. A sharp metallic sound echoed behind them. Click. Every guard spun around. Too late. The archive doors slammed shut. Automatically locking. The lights flickered. Then died. Darkness swallowed the room. Several guards reached for weapons. The emergency lights turned on seconds later.

Marked by the Enemy King

Marked by the Enemy King

Aris roared, pointing to the main bulkhead. The heavy steel door was beginning to buckle inward, a massive dent appearing in its center as the pressure from the outside finally reached its critical threshold. Behind it, the muffled, rhythmic thudding of boots grew louder. "Victor Kalos," Nikos hissed, recognizing the sound of the militia leader’s heavy, methodical approach. "He’s at the gate." "He’s not getting through in time!" Aris countered, his hands bleeding as he forced the lever to the final position. "The steam is venting! The pressure is stabilizing! Do it, Nikos! Disconnect!"

The Raven Wolf King: Wolfless

The Raven Wolf King: Wolfless

He’s just like Father. Father arrives wearing his nightgown. “Why have I been so suddenly summoned?” “Yeah, why the sudden meeting?” Finn asks. “The enemy was at our doorstep,” I reveal. “A small army of men managed to enter our territory and camp. They planned to attack, but when we figured it out and went after them, they escaped.” “Explain what you mean by ‘doorstep’?” Father asks. “They were just about fifty feet from the edge of the woods that overlook the castle.”

My Enemy, My Mate

My Enemy, My Mate

My lungs were burning and my heart was halfway down my throat, but I kept running. When I reached the court doors, I stopped and doubled over slightly, catching my breath. My hands shook as I pressed them against the cold stone walls. The guards bowed respectfully, though a few of them didn’t bother hiding their judgment. Yeah. News of my mating to a rogue must’ve spread like wildfire. “I want to see my father,” I said, voice clipped, pushing through the gates. When Grace moved to follow, two warriors stepped in her way. “She’s with me,” I said without turning around.

An Enemy Called Mate

An Enemy Called Mate

This time, the driver’s voice was quick and rash. With that, I kept my mouth shut, assuming that he didn't like questions after his last response. Instead of focusing on what happened earlier, I tried to ignore it as I watched the car drive past a tall gate. The tall gate was colored black, and some people locked it as soon as the car drove past it. But inwardly, I knew that what happened earlier was a testament to my arrival at the Crescent Moon Pack.

Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

I mean would the Goddess be so cruel to give you a second chance with our enemy? 'I don't know, but we aren't going to be taking our eyes off of her, and she isn't going to leave here. Mate or not, she's the daughter of our enemy and no one knows she is here yet, at least, I don't believe anyone does.' 'I'll send out a party to that side of our territory, making sure no one is lurking around.' 'Also send a few up to observe any actions within their pack from my lookout point, but make sure they treat the area with the utmost respect.'

Red Sage
This story is refreshingly captivating and all it's own, in the sense it has a fresh take on many aspects in regards to family, wolf dynamics and genuine love. The author does a very good job of portraying an actual genuine loving relationship and finding strength in that love. kudos to the author

Blood-Moon Rebellion

Blood-Moon Rebellion

Instead, they raised their weapons in defense. Caelum raised his hand, a silent gesture for peace. “It’s me,” he said, his voice steady but commanding. “Open the gate.” The guards exchanged wary glances before one of them nodded, signaling the others. The gates creaked open slowly, revealing the hidden enclave within, a place that had been carved out of the mountainside. It was a place of refuge, but also a stronghold, filled with the remnants of an age-old rebellion.

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

We waited in the torch-lit silence, listening to the enemy slaughter the last of the defenders outside. Then, a heavy, rhythmic pounding began on the doors. Boom. Boom. Boom. The great iron-banded wood began to splinter. A crack appeared, then widened. With a final, deafening crash, the doors exploded inward. And there, silhouetted against the smoke and chaos of the conquered courtyard, stood Alpha Gideon.

The Cursed Wolf Prince’s Mate

The Cursed Wolf Prince’s Mate

I asked. "Yes. We have to wait for like five to ten minutes before the gates opens" I didn't hide my surprise at his words. At the same time confused. What sort of thing is that? "Why? Who will open the gate?" I bombard all together turning to him. "That's the first rule here. Whenever a guest arrives, it will be inspected first to make sure they're not an enemy. And the gate will automatically open when the inspection is complete" "Wow" I said aloud. What a rule. I think that should be part of the mysteries he mentioned earlier. "What if they find out that it's an enemy. What will happen?"
