He is my mate? “Zelix?” I whispered. “Willow, long time no see.” he said coldly. “Y-You’re my mate?” I uttered unbelievably. “Mate? You are not my mate, you are my rival. Mate is fucking useless. I don’t believe in such things.” he said while smirking. I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth. He walked towards me and I stepped backward, but he quickly grabbed the collar of my shirt and choked my neck. My eyes widened at the sudden action.

“Yes, you’re not my friend… you’re my mate!” Is this guy dumb? Mate and friend are the same thing, maybe I should explain it to him. “Dude..mate and friends are the same thing!” He shakes his head. “You’re my mate, my soul mate!” “Your soul mate?” Could it be he’s having psychological problem, could it be he’s nuts. Such a pity, a handsome young guy like him is not normal. “Yes you’re my soul mate, the one I’ll spend the rest of my life with!”

He said recalling the words she had used to comfort him some moments back, emphasizing the last words. He smiled. "Your Mate!" Damon froze at the words, this can't be possible. Matthew felt like the sky was about to collapse. The rival was so tall and handsome, and he was still young, definitely not comparable. What should he do? Right! The enemy of his enemy is his friend, so he just needed to bring his dad into the picture! Matthew naively said, "But I think Uncle isn't good. Compared to Uncle, isn't my dad taller and more handsome?" Lyra lowered her head to wipe him dry with a towel, remaining silent. My eyes widened as the realization dawned on me. Mate. This was finally it. I’d finally found my mate after all these years of waiting. The day had finally arrived.
